Hodge got his degree in communications, and had an interest in acting I believe. Stay HONGRY Julius.

"Hodge made his Albuquerque debut on Friday a memorable one, scoring 32 points, dishing out 14 assists, and grabbing nine rebounds to lead the Thunderbirds to a victory over the Los Angeles D-Fenders in a game with crucial playoff implications. After narrowly missing a triple-double on Friday, Hodge completed the feat on Sunday. He scored 13 points while adding 12 rebounds and 10 assists in a win over the Bakersfield Jam. Hodge averaged 22.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 12.0 assists in two games for the week."

Still, it's not like he is playing against high schoolers. He is still playing against good talent, just not NBA-good talent. I mean these guys are all like Hodge, played well in college, tried to go pro, didn't work out, now in the D-league.

I don't understand why people can't give him props where its due. He is working his ass off to achieve his goals and all you can do is put him down. He is a good player and just needs to find the right team to fit in with and he will have a very solid pro career.

how dare julius have the audacity to try and make it in the nba, and how dare we care about him, as a fanbase whose only good basketball memories in the last 10 years involve him...

He didnt put up those kinds of numbers at State and D'league tallent is as good/better than what he faced in a good ACC while he was here.

I'll be shocked if he's not playing significant minutes for someone by the beginning of next year. I just hope he doesnt get himself into a bad contract with a team that already has enough guards.

Yeah, Denver was a terrible fit for him.

They had 3 point guards, 5 small forwards, and 4 power forwards in 2005. I was glad to see him get drafted, but that was the one team I was hoping didn't get him.

Here's to hoping that he continues to work his tail off and get to the ultimate prize. I'll be pulling for him the whole time.

fuck you haters

Hodge is doing what he needs to do, play

it wasnt helping him sitting on the bench getting no PT for Denver and now he gets a chance to prove himself again and hopefully get back up to the NBA

he is just now getting back into form after being shot, give him some fucking credit

Hodge with 17 pts and 10 assists in double OT loss last night. He scored a crucial bucket and free throws at the end of regulation to send the game to OT.

Hodge was also named the D-League performer of the Week. http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/performer_070319.html

i look at it like this

obviously his 1st round draft to denver didnt work out...however he has steadily improved his NBDL numbers with each of his three teams and he's damn near averaging a triple double in 5 games...keep up the good work Jules

well thats the d-league for you

but that 19ppg, 9apg, 8rpg, 49% FG, 75% FT isnt too shabby

http://www.nba.com/dleague/playerfile/julius_hodge/index.html

although i think they just got booted out of the playoffs since Pooh Jeter and the rest of Hodge's former D-League team the Colorado 14ers went off for 130 points

eh. In the NBA, if you aren't athletic or 7'+, you have to be able to shoot well.
