I don't really follow the NBA but wow, Iverson and Anthony on the same team is just nasty.

you know the other players on the team are like, "well, there went any chance I had of averaging more than 3 shots a game"

I dont like this trade at all.

Please someone tell me how this can work, why you like it, etc? Both players have to have the ball to be effective, and there wont be enough shots to go around.

Who gets the ball at the end of games? Who is the point guard? AI? Pfffft.

that team will average 4 assists per game.

It wreaks of disaster, especially since Melo' is on suspension, Iverson will come in, hog the ball for 15 games, then AI jr. comes back, and all the chemistry is fucked.

this will be like watching a train wreck.

I dont wont to watch, but I have to to see the devastation.

AI and JR Smith will split time at point with Earl Boykins coming off of the bench

Then you have Najera, Camby, Reggie Evans, and of course Julius Hodge (rofl)

Melo gets back and everything will start rolling, plus the amount of shots they take now is almost as high as the Suns... they pratice with a 16 second shot clock and Karl and Doug Moe have them going up and down the court at warp speed.... a system im sure Iverson will love and a Coach he will respect...

the only problem I see is Iverson will probably have to buy #3 from DerMarr Johnson, or they will just cut his ass...

here is my question...people talk all the time about how karl and larry brown are boys, and that's especially part of why the shit went down in new york recently. well, if brown and karl are supposedly real tight, how is karl going to give iverson a clean slate. isn't he going to think he's an asshole for the way he behaved when larry brown was the coach?

steve francis and stephon marbury (two point guards, pick n roll, ball massagers that should play the 2 but are too small) are no comparison to AI and Melo.....Melo plays well without the ball and is more of a finisher. He'll see most of the end of the game shots. AI loves creating and holds the ball in the beginning of posessions. Has average 7 assists a game the last couple years.

Melo won't lose too many shots, JR Smith and Earl Boykins will. But if Smith is hitting from the outside, this will be one NASTY team

Karl knows what he is getting in AI, he wont hold that Brown stuff against him
