ok. sidney's got his work cut out for him for sure. but really i dont see why basic concepts of the game havent been addressed so far- boxing out. how to play defense while not standing flat-footed.

gavin sucks at d. but costner and fells are significantly worse. it's amazing how lazy those two are. they'll watch their man at the three point line for a second or two, wait for him to go up for the shot, then run out and act like they were defending them. hopefully, lowe is just waiting until next year to bench these lazy goons for guys who want to play the game the way its meant to be played. he cant really bench em now b/c, well, we have no one to put in. but i really really hope he doesnt tolerate this mess next year.

and i don't think it's due to lack of depth. i guess we'll find out next year though.

if costner and fells played as hard as mccauley we'd probably be undefeated. it sickens me.

get used to this...this is how bad seasons start, once they get used to losing, the intensity will start to go away and the frustration will creep in, the only thing im really lookin forward to this year is to see how well Lowe can do in acc tourney time

I dont think its a lack of effort on Costner's part. I dont notice him getting burned on every posession. Grant and Fells on the other hand, get used almost every posession.

After one of grants turnovers early in the second half, Costner got furious and said something along the lines of:

"WHAT THE FUCK, THATS ENOUGH OF THIS BULLSHIT, LETS GO!!!!"

I was impressed, but then he got owned on the next posession with a block i think.

Clemson won't stay unbeaten long. Dumb turnovers is what killed us.

And there should be a mandatory rule that if you're a student and you're not in your seat 5 minutes after tipoff, it should be gone. It gets old having people come in late in the first half or halfway through the second half and want their seats.

i second that rule, that pisses me off so bad when people come 5-10 minutes (or later) into the game and then bitching about their seats

either make it GA similar to football or implement that rule. There's no reason that section 314, etc should be full and all the seats around the court aren't even taken. I was in 110 Row A and it would have been empty except for 5-6 people who moved back from lower seats to get a better view.
