It's the Curse of the Bambino, only instead of the Bambino, it was that freakin' kid that caught the out and made it a home run. 7/21/2007 11:28:43 PM |

Quote : | "Jul 24 Tejada has been cleared to play again and could be activated from the 15-day disabled list when Baltimore hosts the New York Yankees on Friday night. Advice: Tejada is hitting .306 with seven homers and 41 RBIs. He took batting practice indoors Tuesday and said he was ready to go on a rehabilitation assignment." |
Quote : | "Jul 26 Updating previous items, Jeff Seidel, of MLB.com, reports Baltimore Orioles SS Miguel Tejada (wrist) is expected to come off the disabled list and start the game Friday, July 27, against the New York Yankees. Tejada looked good in his last rehab outing Thursday, July 26, by going 2-for-2 with a home run and a walk playing with Class A Frederick. "To hit the home run was a good feeling," said Tejada. "I have to go all the way through with my hands to hit the home run. I hit that ball with power; that's why I felt good."" |

was at the game last night.. Great game until the 9th inning when it got intense.. It was quite funny watching the stands during every pitch when A-Rod was at bat.. entire stadium lit up with flash bulbs. Of course most of the Yankee fans there left in the 8th after A-rod struck out. 7/29/2007 5:29:28 PM |

Hey, we need another pitcher. Since you guys handed us John Maine (and Julio who we turned around for El Duque and his sub-3.00 ERA) for a balls-less often hurt never was I figured you'd love to give us Bedard for some washed up has-been like Shawn Green... deal?

I was at the game Sat night too...It was fun to see the rocket pitch and lose to Burres. We were kicking the shit out of them until that last inning. Whatever. We are playing much better baseball right now and we are getting players back from injury 7/30/2007 6:43:10 PM |
