had we made our free throws around when grant decided to miss all of them...maybe it wouldve been a close finish...but jeez, this team just no good, i doubt tehy will be good next year either, but prob 2 years from now, we might be back to the record sendek was producing in the acc, hopefully improve upon that

it really does come down to guard play. Fells, grant, neiman, and atsur don't have the foot speed to effectively defend acc-level guards.

We'll get some guards in next year, but they will only be frosh.

i don't know about you dumb motherfuckers, but i think getting Atsur back was a godsend

he had some nice passes (unfortunately most of the subsequent shots were bricked) and he seemed to control the pace fairly well

You can tell that his hamstring is still bothering him though. On that one turnover, he had a chance for a fast break but kinda gave up on it. He did have three big 3's though, now if only our other shots would fall.

It was funny though when Singletary put him on his ass and there was no foul, atsur kinda glared at him and was like "i'll get you back". Next possession he makes a 3.

Dave Leitao (UVA coach) kept getting so mad, at one point he was like 'ARRHGHR WHAT ARE YOU DOING' and for the rest of the game the pep band and people near their bench kept yelling that back at him for the rest of the game. At one point in a timeout he went into the huddle and actually broke a clipboard in half over his knee he was so mad.....

you guys are idiots.

This was a much better performance than the Duke game. At least we fought back and made some runs at them....but in the end their guard play is just too good. They've got the best frontcourt in the ACC(nation?), and we have slow guards. What did you expect?

Our defense obviously needs work, but when we shoot 32% from the floor and 26% from three, and are still in it with 4 minutes to go, something is working.

Although I hate losing, we all knew it'd be like this.
