Awesome. Pure awesome.

I'm not really digging the "Joker wears make-up" thing, though. I was under the impression that the chemicals he was washed away in had bleached his skin and turned his hair green. I definitely think the scarred cheeks work, I'm just not sold on the make-up.

Harvey Dent's face was scarred with acid. He'd get facial reconstruction surgery and then the evil half would take over again and he'd scar is face in however way was convenient.

I'm thinking his cheeks get scarred during the movie. There was a brief trailer on Youtube I had seen where his face looked fine and the lipstick was smeared all over his face.

* Bruce will start out the movie with the BEGINS suit but he will eventually have a need to create the new one seen in the released photos.

* Part of the process to make the new suit will be dipping it in liquid titanium.

* The most interesting part was about where Bruce will live. [My friend] asked if The Batcave will make an appearance in this movie. The rep said no, since Wayne Manor burned down and he is living in the penthouse downtown. But she did say that Bruce will be storing his arsenal of weapons, cars, and suits in a parking garage. The Batman equipment is on a giant elevator (kinda like the ones on air craft carriers) that will raise out of the floor when needed and lower below to stay hidden when not [in use].

Did anyone think, from the pictures we've been looking at, they seem to be using slightly lighter sets instead of everything being dark and hard to see? The one location where the Joker is kicking Batman is all-white, which seemed kinda different from all the other Batman movies we've seen.

^^^I really don't like the one on the cover of Empire. His hair is too damn curly and it's not green enough. Plus it looks really weird actually seeing his hands. He either has them white or wears gloves in every other incarnation. I'm not digging this 'runny' makeup either. It looks shitty !! He honestly reminds me of that Joker on the new Batman cartoon.
^ I will say that the picture here on the cover of Wizard did turn out better. All negativity aside, I'm going to hold off my final judgment until after I see the move in July. I'm gonna trust Christopher Nolan on this but for now I say that this live version of the Joker doesn't have shit on Cesar Romero or Jack Nicholson!

I'm feeling the new look. I think they are doing a great job in keeping to the past but adding a modern taste to it, with a darker twist. Looking fwd to this big time, and I hope they don't kill the Joker in this movie...Killing the Joker in Batman just makes no sense to the Batman storyline.

those are some pretty superficial complaints. can't always get what you want.

christopher nolan knows what he's doing. its all part of the dark tone of the series, mixing more of the cruel realities of the world to the comic universe. the realism is awesome.

if he has white gloves, awesome, if not: awesome. either way this movie will be: awesome.

i just saw Alpha Dog for the first time this weekend and thought it was awesome.

Yeah, Alpha Dog was a great flick. I'm sure they bumped a lot of possible footage in favor of Ben Foster, which makes sense because it was an adrenaline movie and he was the most charismatic actor in the film. I loved the scene where he got fired.
