well, the editing make sense to me. the nominations, and the one sent packing is never a mystery when i watch the show. if the house is against kail, CBS edits and shows reasons why, and then kail is sent home. i don't see why any of the house guest will be surprised once they get home and watch the CBS broadcast. i think they would say...'ohh, thats why eric didn't like me that week'. all CBS does it takes a week long fight and compress into 1 hour. its got to be edited, fair and balanced...maybe

uhh...except for that's the exact opposite of how the show works.

Seriously, the object of the editing is almost ALWAYS to make you think that one thing is gonna happen and then "surprise" you when another thing happens.

Case in point: last Thursday night, they spent the first 45 minutes of the show creating this huge suspense about America's player getting into a fight, America's player is gonna leave. He's the target and everyone hates him and he clearly has enough votes to leave. Amber made Dustin swear he would vote out Eric, etc, etc. Then of course who leaves? Kail. Not the person they spent the first 3/4 of the show making you think would be evicted.

^^It's boring as fuck. I don't watch the feeds, I just visit a message board with live feed updates once every hour (so and so said this, so and so did that, Jen's got this t-shirt on, etc). About 90% of the time they're just lounging around bored as well, and every now and then you get a blow-up. The way it's cut on TV makes it look like they're at each other's throats, and I reckon it is definately due to time constraint. If you go to youtube.com and search for "bb8" and "dick", you can get an idea of how much of his day he spends stretched out on the couch (sexy as all git-out), chugging Marlboros and twitching.

^Recipe for classic telly, can't beat it. The telly does show the DR visits, which is a plus over the feeds.

I don't like Amber (crazy bitch), Jameka (God is gangster), Dustin, or Eric because they are constantly whispering and being retarded about game talk. Just about every shift of the wind, they change their mind and are talking shit about someone else. Plus, Eric should have been gone last week before that bullshit with the DR. Now the house hates dick and danielle because of it.

I like Jessica and Dick. Sure, Dick is an asshole and abbriasive, but he isn't fake and if he thinks you are shady he will come out and say it. He also keeps the show interesting. I think the only person that would be the same on the outside as he is inside the house is Dick.

Danielle is cool but she is pretty whiny. Jen and Zach are ok, I guess. I don't think either of them add much to the show except Zach being completely skeezy (doesn't make it on the show anyways). Jen is smarter than what is on the show, but she is still a fucking idiot.

I am with NutGrass on this issue. My favorites (in order):

-Eric
-Jessica
-Jen
-Dustin

I think Eric has more hurdles to overcome than the rest of everyone in there. He has no say in his vote, period, which sucks for him, because votes are the biggest bargaining tool in the house. The reason Dick and Danielle tried to backdoor him was because of HIS votes, of which he had no control over. In other words, he is playing with both hands tied behind his back. Also, what is the punishment/reward for not accomplishing/accomplishing his tasks for America? The rewards have not been disclosed to the TV watching general public. I think he has the hardest position of them all.

Dick just grates on my nerves for being flamboyant. It is very atypical game play, but it seems to be working until this week.

Amber's crying has seemed to slack off some, but either way, she has wayyyy too much baggage and it gets on my nerves.

I like Jen because she is smarter than she appears. She is playing the "dumb" role well and it is working for her.

Danielle has never been one of my favorites because she seems too stuck up to make friends with the other houseguests...typical girl.

Hmmm....see I only watch the show as well and I have totally different favorites.

I'm starting to like Jen. And I like Danielle, except sometimes she whines a bit too much. But I can't blame her for complaining about being stuck in a house with those people. Ok so I just went to the BB8 page on CBS.com to vote for Eric to evict Dustin, and Jesus that ginormous pic of Eric that pops up on the America's Player screen is creepy. He looks almost alien.


I sooo hope that Jen and Zach will vote to keep Dick, because I'm fully expecting America to vote to evict Dustin. I love how America screwed Eric this week by making him give Jessica the silent treatment.


If Dick stays, the show actually has a chance of being interesting for the rest of the season because now the LNC won't outnumber anyone. And since Jamika and Jessica both won't be able to compete for HOH next week, then the odds of someone interesting getting it goes up.

Ok i have gotten to like this show, just started watching 3 weeks ago

First i want to say I would love to see Jen Jessica and mayyybe Daniele naked, I think Daniele is all done up though, she has alot helping her...but Jessica and Jen good LORD.

Amber can go home, shes too emotional and a puppet. Jameka is also a puppet and wont win, shes very judgemental and Daniele called her out on it tonight and I saw Amber as well as Dustin go against Jameka and stand up for Daniele which surprised me.

Dustin thinks he is above the law and on everyones good side but i dont think he has any REAL person that trust him maybe Amber.

Eric, i hate him and wish he would get booted...he is a nerd and a prick.

Jens the in between chick, both groups like her and I do too...whats not to love about that body.

Zach is the darkhouse, no one sees him as a threat and he plays both sides well.

well, it looks like i am in the minority again this week. Erics hands are tied by america. America (and possibly CBS) are really screwing erics chances of winning this game. i am not sure why america hates eric...he has pretty much done what america ask and the reasons for the lying have to stem from covering up what america wants him to do. oh well, i'm not going to fight too hard for eric, even though he is one of my favorites.

another favorite that i have had from the beginning is starting to emerge as a possible contender to the end...jen. everyone used to hate her and her stupidity...but, hey, she is still there.

i still don't like evil, which most people do since he is entertaining. i definitely don't like the way he treated jen, and now he wants to side with her. if your going to battle with someone, follow through with it...not just when the chips are in your favor.

poor jessica...she is probably my overall favorite, but she seems so gullable. i hope that she can look past the 'silent treatment' from eric and realize they have a strong alliance.

I am still with NutGrass and iphotou.

I cannot figure out why people do not like Eric. He has been trying to appease America from the very beginning. His gameplay has been inline with everything he was told to do until this week. Why the change? What did he do of his own accord that turned people off to him?

He has even avoided committing himself to anything except what America told him to do. Even when he said Dustin was safe as a pawn last night, he could not look anyone in the eye as he said it because he has no guarantee he can keep his work because HE isn't voting. America is.

If he could play without being "America's Player," I think he would be better off. He would probably be less "mysterious" because there wouldn't have been the two questionable votes.

I guess I am weird. I pulled for James in BB6 & 7.

If Eric wasnt such a cocky prick all the time I think it would be easier for people to like him. I used to like Eric, I thought he was a funny guy, but after the way he acted during the whole Nick getting voted out debacle I cant pull for him.

Plus he's part of the crew with Jameka, Amber and Dustin. The 4 of them together are definetly the group that I hate the most out of any season.

I'm curious, when the houseguests won beer for the house earlier in the season, did Danielle drink it?

it would seem like she would be offered alcohol by the other houseguests since they think she's of age. but if she did drink wouldnt it be some illegal activity by CBS for supplying it to her?
