Is the student ticketing web site not working for anyone else?

Please try signing in to claim your tickets to see if I'm the only one having problems. At this point I can't even sign in. Neither can my gf or my sister.

are they gonna fix the system so it lets us claim tickets

or is the student section just going to be damn near empty b/c they won't let anyone request a ticket

I think they should start penalizing(lose attendance points) if you come in 30 minutes after kickoff. It's not hard to eat, socialize, and get trashed in 4-5 hours. The student sections have looked pretty pathetic at kickoff the past couple of games. At least with the old ticket system, the empty seats were spread out and it wasn't entire sections that were empty.

pretty sure that you get penalized if your ticket isn't scanned by half time.

ha, I'm just wondering how many of you who are bitching and whining about not getting a ticket to the carolina game have actually been to 1 or more games this season. And they should give out tickets based on some sort of loyalty system. There's no reason why some little bandwagon bitch should be keeping someone from going who has been to every game.

^^ I can't think of a good reason not to do that, or at least give seniors first dibs on tickets for uncch games in both basketball and football. I know I've heard of other schools not even opening up tickets to underclassmen for their rivalry game until every senior who wanted one had gotten a ticket.

it seems like during the exhibition games they would have a lot more student seats then they normally would cause last game was pretty empty. im mad i didnt get a ticket so if you have one let me know

I am against this as a blanket policy. I don't think a senior who hasn't bothered to go to a game and will leave early/show up late should get a ticket to UNC over an underclassman that has consistently gone to games and gone loud. If the senior has gone to games and wants to go then I think its worth them getting it.
I don't want to be like UNC where hundreds of seniors go to the Duke game when they haven't watched a game all season and only know two starters.

maybe they should use both

have a formula like (#games attended/#games possible)+seniority

where seniority is something like 0.10-fresh, 0.15-soph, 0.20-jr, 0.25-sr, 0.30-grad

and use that # to see who gets tickets

Well, all I know is that I'm a senior, and over my four years have maybe missed 5 or 6 home games. I always go (even when we get killed), and I stay til the end! where is the fairness??
