I think the only reason the game is being presented as a "big rivalry" is because ECU cares so much about beating us. I mean don't get me wrong, I love beating App, ECU, etc. but those teams play us with a chip on their shoulder. They won't admit to being inferior but they definitely have that inferiority complex, so beating State is a huge deal to them.

I'm not expecting any sort of turn around from our team tomorrow, even after our bye week(flat out to many injuries) but i hope we can somehow catch them on a bad day and steal a win during this awful time.

Steven, you can say all you want about the football game and how ncsu is inferior, but you and everyone here knows that nobody chooses to go to ECU. They cant get into to better schools (including yourself) and then they settle for ECU and decide that they might as well cheer for the school that they pay tuition to.

well i applied to ECU, NC State and UNC...i got into NC State and ECU...but i was an Education major and tuition was cheaper and i was paying for my own school. I dont actually attend ECU anymore because i couldnt afford it anymore. thanks for making false assumptions jackass.

it's so easy to see who the undergrads are on this thread. when pinned with the gravity of their team's athletic woes in contrast to a smaller school 77 miles away, the only thing they can dig up in retaliation relates to std's, inferiority complexes, rivalry denial etc. you guys are funny.

this is an appropriate decision, regardless of the reason they're at ecu.

I mean look at the rest of their lives once they graduate.

They have a degree (well, the ones that do graduate) that might be worth more than a GED to employers. They wont break 40k/yr in their job until they are past 45. They most likely have come into contact with some form of STD. And a good portion of them will probably have a drinking problem and a problematic obsession with skanks.

So is it really so bad that they brag about their school being in a better position coming into todays game than one of State's worst teams ever? Let them brag today, we have the rest of our lives to pity them.
