All those lucky breaks we got earlier in the season (throw to Grant against Miami, last second dunk against Wake) aren't going our way now. This team could easily be 1-10 in the ACC.

And if I was Fells or Hickson, I'd leave after this year. Why would you put yourself through another NIT tournament run next year.

Clemson hit some unreal shots at the end of the game while NCSU had trouble getting the ball down the court. Our offense bogged down as usual once someone cut the ball off from the basket. It's like there's one avenue to the play and once it's taken away nobody knows what to do. Having guards who can't handle the ball or shoot will only get you so far.

I thought Javi played well. You people seem to be forgetting that he's a freshman. Aside from a couple of the full court presses and silly turnovers, I thought he had a nice game. He had some nice assists and came up with a couple nice baskets, plus that steal in the 2nd half really got our momentum going. He's only going to get better.

^ Yeah, there was one play I remember where Booker had the ball down low and bobbled it and if Grant had been paying attention and ready for a double team he could have had an easy steal. But of course he wasn't paying attention at all.

He actually came out looking like he wanted to play today though. I was so happy at first (he was probably my favorite player last year) but it was the same old story. Missed shots, getting boxed out on the glass, horrible passes... I mean, I watch him play and see nothing that I saw last year. I don't know how a player can fall so far in such a short span of time. It's painful for me to watch.

This team has to have better guard play to be sucessful. Having guards who can't manage the game or hit a wide open jumper from the top of the key is like having a Quarterback who can just toss the option and throw a screen pass. The thing is, I know we'll be much better in this area next season...but will we have the rest of the pieces still on the team?

I was trying hard to find stats for clemson's all time record in the triangle. I remember seeing it in the n and o or hearing it on david glenn's show a few years back but it's crazy. Obviously we all know about Chapel Hill and I wanna say there are only like 5 wins all time in Durham. Of course though there were a significant amount more in Raleigh and today just adds to that . They sure as hell aren't intimidated to come and play us buuuut why should they be?! So sad to be here where we live and be surrounded by what we are...
