I don't know what Earl is talking about, i just got back. the arena was really nice, the light rail makes it a great place to have the tournament. really nice arena. they could easily increase the capacity of they wanted, that's the only downside to Charlotte.

and if you are complaining about the night life i doubt the ACC could give two shits about that if you look at who is attending the games.

my parents saw ol' roy out at dinner last night. as he was leaving the table and passed by my parents' table mom said "go tigers!" (she went to clemson)... he just smiled and waved to her.

then he walks out of that particular area of the restaurant and towards the exit, has to walk past the bar area, and everyone starts cheering and clapping. assholes

I don't know what earl was talking about either. I already said it was a nice arena. thats all they have going though, and even there. the arena has a big ass hole in it for a bar but alcohol can't even be served at a college game so its a useless hole. Its not like that is the nicest arena on the planet either. American Airlines is much better. If Charlotte is such a great city why don't people go there for something other than sports? Where do they rank in tourism?

there really isn't that much time to go elsewhere except thursday between games and after saturday's games

university day, the lunch provided by the ACC is between friday's games (and was actually good this year, for once)
