I remember being on the edge of my seat though. Given Duke's record (Duke was 0-3 in the ACC, 2-5 overall) at the time and given that we had Rivers, that game was waaaaaay too close for comfort. They went 0-8 in conference play.

Duke also had some obnoxious conference losing streak going, or perhaps this was the beginning of it. I can't really remember the details other than not wanting to be the one ACC team to lose to the absolute worst ACC team in a long time.

I've noticed Pitt as a trendy pick to be really good this year... looking at their past few recruiting classes I can see why and McCoy is a stud... but I just don't trust a Wannstedt team...
