meh i don't see socialism as the intermediate between capitalism and communism. well not in theory anyway. on the macro scale, yea things get kind of fucked up. marx intended socialism to = capitalism. but that doesn't work in practice because people are greedy and people will always break rules.

socialism is economic. communism is more political. socialism is liberal (wide) communism is conservative (as in narrow). socialism is about spreading the power around. communism is about having a few people in control.

karl marx also said democracy is the road to socialism. just food for thought. some other food for thought--thomas paine (who's writings kind of set the foundation for SOME of the principles that helped inspire the american revolution. things like oh you know a living wage. i know it seems like a novel concept, but unfortunately the idea has been around awhile). its just interesting to think that some of the very ideals that helped inspire the american revolution (and ultimately the founding of our country) are things that are constantly kicked to the curb today.

It has 202,000+ miles on it and I will drive it until the wheels fall off. The cost of gas is still cheaper than the car payment on a new Honda
