I'm just saying there are huge differences:

Last election we pretty much had a proven fuck-up. We also had a pretty big unproven, possible fuck-up in Kerry...a lot of people felt that strongly about giving Bush another four years...and they were mostly proven right.

In this election we have two unprovens. And there are a lot of ridiculously ignorant statements being thrown Obama's way that weren't thrown McCain's way. A lot more immaturity on the conservative side in my opinion. Watching both sides throughout out the whole election....it's been a lot of "Rah Rah Obama" from the liberal side and a good deal of "Obama is a socialist, muslim, terrorist-supporter" from the conservative side (especially on facebook as evidenced by this thread).

* and not that it matters....but i was never one of those, "i'm moving to another country1!!!!11!!!" type people. nor did i take it out on bush voters....but i still thought they were dumb....just kept it mostly to myself
