As of yesterday, I will not be able to go to this game

First bowl game I've missed since the MicronPC in 98.

Can't really complain though, I get to be in Tampa instead.

Does the redshirt of Glennon apply for bowl games as well?

^yes. If any player plays in this game that was being redshirted, they lose it.

From the thread that was unnecessarily locked:

"For those of us who can't make it down to Birmingham for the game, the good people at Black Finn are going to let us watch it there and give us some food and drink specials. If you're in Charlotte on the 29th come on out and cheer the Wolfpack to victory. This is going to be a great game so tell your friends! Spread the word!"

Yea I'm unable to make it to the game because of work but I'll definitely be taking a half day and heading up to Black Finn to watch the game there. I heard Chris McClain mention something about it on the Mac Attack. Should be a good time.

Yea a lot of alumni clubs do game parties there. We usually do Cans for ours but Black Finn seems like as good a place as any. I called and they said they would be doing their gameday specials for us and might do other drink specials a special on a shots when we score or get first downs

Yeah, it's an awesome venue for watching games like this, can handle very large crowds, and unlike saturday nights it will actually be quite easy to get a drink. GO PACK!

^^They should do specials on any drink/shot with "RED" in the title: Red headed sluts, Red Hurricanes, Red Lobsters and so on and so forth.

if they were like "all shots with red in the name are only $5" i'd be like "yes may I please get a Red Bull and Remy Martin Louis XIII"

(cause that remy is like $1800 / bottle)

Bachelors Degree and work for Wachovia Corporation right now...just can't get into the corporate office there yet. Yes I know this is a shameless promo but yall all responding live in the queen city already and I need to get OUT of Raleigh! GO PACK!

I doubt now is really the best time to be trying to look for a corporate job with Wachovia.

Yeah - getting into the corp buildings at Wachovia is difficult right now, I know they're on a hiring freeze. Might think about looking at Bank of America instead.

Shouldn't a thread be started about the b-ball game/open football practice combo on saturday? It'd be nice to get a crowd out there at Carter-Finley to show the love.

I haven't been to the Black Finn in Charlotte, but apparently its almost exactly the same as the original one on 53rd Street in Manhattan. I'm sure the one in Charlotte would be a lot cooler if they too had $20 6-8 all you can drink happy hours every weekday (stupid NC happy hour laws). That includes top shelf liquor too.

They actually do raise livestock on the Hawaiian islands. And I wouldn't complain, the seafood there is out of this world. Esp. the sushi/fish. Alabama, haha

just talked with a ticket rep from state's athletic ticket office. said the student tickets for the bowl game will be around sections 39 & 40 at Legion Field. Looks similar to where sections 7/8 are at CFS.

^The question where what unit will control the game.

Only North and South carolina voted for NC States Offense.

I think we are the only ones who have been paying attention.

I just came across an interesting problem. So I graduated this semester. Prior to that I bought a student ticket to the bowl game. Now I can't access the ticket site to print my ticket. I have emailed a few people in the ticket office about this. Any idea If I physically need the paper GA ticket to claim mine at the will call in Birmingham? Or will photo ID be sufficient?

Same thing happened to me Hershculez so I emailed Colin Hargis cchargis@gw.fis.ncsu.edu about it. He reactivated my account for a day and I printed my ticket.
