Oh and whoever was commenting about the Janitor's name, yeah that wasn't his name. Right after JD walks away another guy walks by and is like, "Hey Troy" or something to the Janitor. I knew they wouldn't reveal his name.

Unless you believe the Janitor was sincere to JD on his last day and still made up names for everyone else. He did answer pretty quickly when JD "finally" asked, but he did so with a slight smirk on his face if I recall correctly.

were shawn and keith there? they have both made appearences this season but i didn't notice either of them being present or absent for this one. also...there were some girlfriends i didn't recognize and others i either missed or they weren't there (dani, julie, TCW, the black bartender chick...maybe i saw giftshop girl but i can't remember)

Unsure how I feel about this...really liked the way they ended it. A multi-camera format would be awful though.

Also saw "Better Off Ted" is being renewed as well (shocking beyond belief) and Season 8 will be released on blu-ray too (and apparently, the other seasons were always shot 16:9 protected, so future blu-ray releases/HD syndication is possible.

If not, this is garbage and I want it to die.

If so, I'd rather watch new, mediocre Scrubs than most of the other crap on tv, so sure.
It would be better if Braff had nothing to do with it. The Season 8 finale was the perfect way for him to end his role in the show.
