i want scott to go home, but would be happy with megan or michael. michael is just so boring to me.

my faves tonight were matt (who's always been up top for me), anoop & kris. redhead really surprised me. i think she is a fantastic singer and was worried about her doing country, but she rocked it. could not stand Adam, but then again i've never like him. I just felt like he was molesting the mic stand and ugh. i liked danny when he sang the chorus, but the first part sounded like he was reading the words.

I don't watch the show, never have. Nothing against it, just not my thing. Just wanted to post in here to say I was flipping channels earlier and stopped for about a minute and thought, "how the fuck is this dumbass one of the 10 or whatever best singers that auditioned?" about that Scott guy. I didn't realize he was blind or whatever he is. Carry on.

Adam should win it. Love him or hate him, he's got serious talent. His vocal capabilities and stage presence are in another league from these dweebs. The others struggle keeping their falsetto in tune, while he easily goes into the upper, upper range. His Ring of Fire rendition went over the judges heads and probably a lot of the more musically-conservative viewers, but I thought it was excellent.

The word "falsetto" is used way too much on this show, I think it's the only thing Paula knows to say when sh'es trying to describe someones singing.

I thought Anoop was awesome, as well as Matt (whom I didn't care for until last night) and Kris. Alicia is too good of a singer to go home now and she wasn't the worst. I hated Adam's version of Ring of Fire--there were some spots with it that I thought if he made the rest of the song like that it could work, but no, it was weird. I think bottom 3 should be Lil Rounds, the first guy (the welder or oil rigger and I can't remember who was who) and Adam.

Madam Lambert sucks cock, both figuratively and literally. Last night he gave the worst performance of the evening. He can scream, but I still don't like him.

Anoop sang way better than the previous couple weeks. Good job.

I couldn't pay attention to 'kooky girl' cause I was too busy defining the edges of her nipples and/or piercings through her red satin/sheer top.

I used to like Alexis, but last night was ho-hum. She already looks (and riffs) like she's trying to be Christina Aquilera, so now that she keeps saying "I'm dirrrty" all the time, it's old and cliche. Separate yourself, Jesus.

Matt Giraud is still my favorite, and he killed it.

It would be great if Scott left the competition soon; how long will sympathy votes hold out?

^ Definitely agree about the Scott thing. He just can't sing. And even Kara said "This is a singing competition" The only reason he is making it this far is because people feel sorry for him. Even the judges are waaaay too easy on him. Honestly, I don't think he should've made it into the top 13.

And Kris, the little cutie patootie! He sang my wedding song So major points in my book Plus he did sing it really great!

And I didn't like the quirky girl at first...Megan? But she's growing on me. I loved her performance last week and this week was great.

Alexis singing Jolene was not that good. Brooke sang it last year and was A LOT better, so I couldn't help but keep comparing Alexis to that.

I liked Michael in the audition rounds, and even in Hollywood week but he's falling short compared to everyone else. I think he'll be the one sent home.

as of right now my top 4 are:

danny - good lord that chorus in jesus take the wheel was awesome
red head chick - the tone of her voice makes her able to sing anything
matt (piano guy) - good voice, but don't know how he'd do with an upbeat song though
kris (even though he's spells it with a "k")

blind guy - go now please
oil rig - same as above^
bo rounds - she'll probably stay because there's no other black people. kinda sad
tattoo chick - i was surprised the judges all liked it last night; i thought it was horrible

still can't decide on the rocker guy. he's got the journey voice going on which is cool but he's just way too over the top. maybe if he tones it down some. but damn last night was terrible

The problem I have with Adam is he thinks he is the American Idol already. He has an air of cockiness and smugness around him that irritates me. His cover of Ring of Fire was a train wreck and very self-indulgent. That song is a classic but could have been reworked to a more rock tempo. I don't get the comparisons to Chris Daughtry either, Daughtry wasn't that cocky.

Do you mean me? Falsetto to me is when a singer sings above their normal register. That's probably not entirely correct, technically, but whatever. I think Adam does that very well, while the others struggle with it.
