The plot has become a little predictable...was anyone actually surprised that the painting of Parkman strapped in dynamite made itself come true? I'm hoping tonight adds some real twists.

why didn't claire just make up something humorous when the comic book store guy asked her what kind of hero she would be. If she said something like how she can regenerate, i definately would have lul'd... instead she pussied out and lost another 100 points.

I think a major problem of Heroes is that they carry on side plots for way too long...are we going on 5 weeks with Sylar's dad? At least 4.

I think a one and done system would work out much better, instead of arcing 6 different storylines through one season.

And for god's sake, fucking do something with Hiro. Either he needs to die, or get his power back and become ninja Hiro...i'm tired of his BS

I'm sure they didn't time travel. The baby is most likely the offspring of Matt's wife and his partner that she was pregnant with from season 1. I'm assuming that Matt's wife felt so guilty from cheating on him that she gave the child the same name.

They time traveled all the way back to the second season where Parkman had a pregnant ex-wife, then they time traveled a handful of months later to after the baby was born.

I'm not including episodes that we "don't see characters".

The fact that there are so many separate plot lines where we "don't see characters" should tell the writers there is too much going on.

And Hiro did not willingly go back in time, so who knows

Television shows with ensemble casts generally have several episodes where some characters don't appear. ER, for example, has done this for years.

Drovkin, he's in the present - the baby is parkman's kid, not parkman himself. Ando and the speedster brought hiro back from the past soon after he got stuck.

I can't believe any of you actually thought the baby was really Parkman in the past. Hiro can't time travel anymore, they haven't shown him time traveling, why would he randomly be in the past? As soon as the babysitter came out I assumed they had just found his kid. And the reason she is so desperate to get rid of him? That baby has some crazy powers.

It annoys the shit out of me that characters only use their powers when it suits the writers, especially parkman. heroes has gone from a must watch to a background noise type of show for me now

^^Well as stupid as it looked she was "alive" enough to cry a tear when only half of her head was in tact. I suppose maybe her power has evolved kinda like Parkman's did to the point where she can "deconstruct" herself down Terminator 2 style. Alas, even if she was dead, her sister Barbara (which I still don't fully understand... they said they were triplets which would imply Nikki, Jessica, and Tracy, but they mentioned Barbara too...) is still out there somewhere and I'm sure she'll show up soon and sleep with Nathan.

I believe the first pyro man as well, blew himself up when Claire saved someone from the house--I think season 2? She was still a cheerleader.
