our penalty kill and power play looked really good......that's just some lucky shit for Satan to run out alone after Fleury gave a superman act and then the epic shift that got our guys tired. stay with the gameplan and we can still make it a game.

Ok first take their defense is obviously not as good as Bostons especially without a guy like Chara out there to just shut things down. On the other hand we still cant seem to find a way to take advantage of pretty good chances to get a first goal and quiet the crowd. Until we show differently I am sticking to my assumption that we wont win a game in which the other team scores 3 or more goals. I think there is potential for us to put up some more goals against them than Boston but what I think and what the team does are two different things. Just need to settle down now and try to get one back if we can and play good D to keep them from scoring anymore the rest of the game.

Also if Fleury is going to continue to outshine Ward which is the main advantage I thought we had in this series then we have no chance of winning this series honestly.

if by large gobs he means the 4 minutes when they were a man up and the 4 minutes after they killed our penalty, then yes. everything else looked pretty even to me.

And Fleury will not make those types of saves all series long. If we get that many good scoring chances per period, I like our chances.

We've been playing fine, we just had a bad couple of minutes in there. "Large gobs" was a pretty biased way of them to sum up the period.
