the guy who does the voice for Krieger (and is the model for Ray Gillette) used to work on Good Eats.

kind of freaked me out the first time I noticed it -- he's usually a butcher in the episodes

Some of the threads about it said that some of the staff of the show mentioned that George Coe is in his 80s and has a hard time always getting the same character/voice every episode. Additionally Woodhouse has sounded like that before. Check out this thread:
