this episode had some potential (as do most HRG backstory episodes) but then turned out to be crap (as do most HRG backstory episodes)

1) how did noah start tracking specials? he had a complex map all set up like suresh did when he started, but he had no genetic research or any real resources to go by.

2) the first guy bennet killed looked like he could have been a past version of the puppetmaster. i got really excited because i thought thats who he was going to be but alas. i wish they had gone with that route instead and given the two of them a past relationship

you're right about them being at Noah's place, but i think they left to try to find Charlie.

The real question you should be asking, is what the fuck happened to Lauren's phone call to Tracy Strauss. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled she's been used so little during this season, but Lauren was calling her for help and then nothing.

i guess i am one of the few who does like heroes. but seriously their writters are horrible about dealing with a large cast. they really need someone like Ronald D. Moore or J. Michael Straczynski. Both were pretty good with large cast and interwining plots

well ya considering people read blogs and get insider information about something MAJOR that will happen on the show in a few weeks. I'd say the lost spoiler posted was on oneof the top 5 events that has happened in the show so far. it was huge.

since the 2 hour season premiere in the fall, I haven't watched...it was just that bad for me. Something caught my eye 3 weeks ago, so I started watching again. I have to say it isn't all that bad. It'll never be S1 again, but I was pretty interested in where the story was going. Is it enough to make me go back and watch what I missed? Prolly not. But I was entertained. And I'm interested enough to see where this next chapter/volume/whatever goes.

good episode, horrible plot for the cliffhanger. how is this any different than when nathan tried to reveal himself to the world? peter came back in time and shot him...i guess nothing bad comes from this one since no one came back to stop her? Hiro could have prevented the whole thing but he stood there and watched. Since Samuel didn't die I assume he'll be back, like Danko was in this season. Also...how did Samuel become completely powerless? Peter, Emma, Sylar, and Doyle were all still in the carnival, he should have been able to at least pick up a stone. We also don't know what happened to the multiplicity guy after Parkman released him...he has to eventually, right? Which brings me to my next question...since Emma's power is correlated to her emotions, how did the music bring people in without her wanting to? She could have changed it to make them stay away. Doyle only made her play, he couldn't control what emotion she would project.

BTW, what happened to Tracy? I didn't catch what they said about her after they got out of the water. Is Ali Larter finally done?!?!?!?!?

It's not like multiple man could even do anything to hurt Sylar anyway... last week when it showed Peter/Sylar go towards the stairs and multiple man came up I was like "Oh wow, he's a real threat. Sylar could squash him instantly. Why is this even a cliffhanger?" And in my opinion it was another lackluster final showdown. I really just wish at some point we'd have a decent fight between two powerful people.

i thought the season was ok but that had to have been the worst finale in the history of television. I liked where the show was going in season 3 and 4 but now its just gay.

I would like to get a copy of the finale that you guys saw because the one I watched was complete shit. Talk about the least dramatic "boss fight" to end the season ever. All year long we get this huge buildup from Samuel collecting people with abilities so he could build up his power, and they spend the entire last episode and the first half of this one showing us how Syler is now a good guy and how he's going to save the girl and all the people. Setting us up for this ultimate battle between these two amazing forces. And then... Samuel shakes the ground and Hiro teleports 15 people away and it's game over? Lame doesn't even begin to describe it.

I honestly hope this show doesn't get renewed because my dumb ass will forget how shitty it is and watch it anyway.

^^Agreed. It was just as epic as that time in Season 1 when future Peter was going to fight future Sylar. It showed them charging up and stuff and then bam the door slams and all you see is a bunch of lights and crap under the door.

No more Heroes, its official.

If they had just made a single season and called it a mini-series, it would have been one of the best TV events ever.

Instead, they leave off after 4 straight crappy-to-mediocre volumes.
