I didn't really like it. I don't know how I would have made it better (certainly wasn't looking for the "oh, they found a way to get back to earth, yay!" ending) but I wouldn't have minded a little bit more resolution. Would have been great as a season finale, but as a series finale it left me wanting.

1. 3 years later with or without Eli.
2. Something happens in those two weeks that has everyone come out of stasis.

I disagree. I think it was a way better series finale. I think it would be pretty lame if they were going to start a following season 3 years in the future. The ship powering down and the scene with Eli on the lookout couldnt have been better for a series finale.

As for the show/stargate, it kind of bums me out that there probably won't be any more episodes. the show was finally starting to mature and the writing was great. I thought the acting was pretty good as well. I just hate that a super shitty show on ABC/NBC can draw 8 million more viewers than a show with a unique storyline and was actually somewhat well acted/written. It doesn't make sense to me
