^^ I think they are just waiting for the end of the academic year and sports calendar. I expect sometime shortly after the baseball team loses in the regionals, they'll finally can his ass setting off a great celebration not seen since the defeat of the Germans in WWII.

The issue with the baseball team is the pitching. Mazzoni and Buchannen threw a CG each this past weekend. If the pitching can get on a bit of a roll then State can be dangerous with the lineup they throw out there. Especially once Kyle Wilson gets back and healthy.

However if Lee is fired at the end of the this Ireland trip/end of school year then it works out well. It allows the new Chancellor to get his affairs in order, a short list of candidates and also allows him to make sure that Lee is out of the country so that he doesn't screw up this new hire.

I will leave my job and give up my engineering career for this position. I will do everything possible to ensure that we run a successful athletic program and produce champions on and off the field, in the community and in the classroom. I will restore traditions like the giant NCState bass drum, have a live mascot, and schedule primetime matchups once a year in Reynolds coliseum. I will make it work.

I will wear red proudly, walk around campus saying hello to students, make myself congenial and open to students and faculty alike.

I will continue to bring in legends of the past and welcome them home to the wolfpack family, and I will make sure we honor them for their acheivements and efforts to help make North Carolina State University what it is today- the GREATEST publicly funded institution in not only North Carolina, but the entire world.

The center of my galaxy will be here in Raleigh, and all other schools will orbit our burning star of awesomeness.
