How many more Dolphin injuries is it gonna take to dominate the trenches?

3-4 defenses always give our OLine fits.

Jake 9/22 for 93 yds. and the INT

anyone who defends Jake Delhomme at this point is just retarded; unfortunately he is still probably the best option for the Panthers at QB, which is the biggest indictment of Fox IMO

Marty Hurney should not escape blame in this either.

still, it is his overall body of work

if the best thing we can say about jake those three games is that he didn't lose them for us then that is not exactly a ringing endorsement. he didn't do a whole lot wrong in those games, but its not like he played great either

He has had a nice to very nice run in Charlotte

^^^some, but I think more falls on Fox

I mean Hurney put together a team that went 12-4 last year and then returned 21 of 22 starters. he can't do much more as the general manager. I didn't like at all the way Peppers was handled in the offseason but he did put together a lot of pieces on this team that made it really good last year

it isn't his fault that we have gotten worse scheme wise

I blame Hurney for trading our 1st round pick in the next draft to move up 3 spots for Evrette Brown dumbest move in franchise history

Now those 15 yards come into play. Not sure about that call, both guys jarrin. Still not sure why Deangelo comes out in the red zone

^^^^^could be questioned, however Brown has had nice moments and he is only a rookie. we do have to give him at least a little time to develop

Everyone was saying after one year that Mario Williams was the dumbest pick ever, taking him over Reggie Bush. Looks great now. Mario had some growing pains his rookie year and has flourished since.

Not comparing Brown to Williams at all, I'm just saying it might be a little too early to call it the dumbest move in franchise history

^towolfey we really didnt have to waste #13 overall on stewart either, that draft was loaded with good RBs

still, he hasnt fucked up a first rounder in a while (of course now he's in the business of giving them away) and he keeps most of the good players here, despite overpaying them

vincent amato'd us, hope lloyd is ready to boot one :/

tree you are absolutely right

it should be more of 70/30 workload with Stewart just spelling for a play or two instead of actually taking 34 off the field for a period of time.

could be like Beanie Wells was in AZ early this year: put him in the game and they know you are running (up the middle).

DeA is in on more passing downs so that may cause them to play off the line a bit more?

D-Will's vision allows him to avoid some of those first-contacts in the first place...can't discredit that

dont get me wrong though...Stewart is nice...real nice...I just think Williams is that good

Mario didn't have growing pains, he had a lisfranc injury in his foot. It sapped his explosiveness his rookie year.

^^^^oh yeah

Williams is, AT WORST, the SECOND best running back in the NFL. No reason to take him off the field right now for extended periods of time

^^& ^^^ LOL

Regardless of injury for Williams or not, the media didn't seem to care. They were all saying after his rookie year how bad of a pick it looked to be. Now, not so much.

btw, that stands for TreeTwista, not Tank Tyler

Thursday games are fucked up though...players are just getting back rested on Thursday...its almost similar to when bball teams played with 6am tipoffs the other day...I wonder how much that has to do with all of the injuries

I really wish the panthers would just go ahead and get rid of delhomme right now. I don't care if they started a one armed man at QB and we lost every game by triple digits I just really really really wanna see Delhomme's sorry ass outta here. Fuck whoever let him stay.
