Got bumped twice waiting for the elevator at the end of the night. First time was by the commissioner and his posse, and the second time was by the whole Staal family. While he was waiting, the commissioner said to someone he was with that this year was his favorite skills day. Ended up on the elevator squeezed up against Aaron Ward and his son trying desperately not to drop all the shit I was carrying.

To be fair, you pay at least $10 (and usually much more) to park anywhere close to any other major sports arena, so five bucks isn't bad. Frankly, I'm surprised it lasted this long, especially after '08 when the Canes paid the state to keep the free lots closed on game days.

Cam Ward being mic'd up was very cool. It was nice to see Staal score a couple of goals, and even though Skinner got an assist, I wish he could've gotten a goal. Oh well...it was a fun game to watch. Too bad Team Staal couldn't pull it out.
