Harrow has some absolutely NASTY moves... hesitation-studder-step-blow-by-your-ass moves. Wicked cross-over. I know he's got hops, but the misdirection he has, coupled with his quickness is amazing.

Also, LoBrown looked great handling the ball and dishing.

One thing i was thinking about... I can't imagine how whoever has to guard our incoming freshmen is going to stay out of foul trouble. I think Harrow could get 2-3 fouls on his man on the same trip down the court.

We've NEVER had a PG of either Harrow or Brown's ability, and i can vividly remember back to the 82 season.

I agree, Harrow is amazing to watch, his handles and speed are far above average but the thing that always catches me offguard is his hops (you can see his dunking ability in my pics on the last page). One thing that worries me is how is he going to handle playing against a bigger PG, and how good is his defense - again especially against bigger PGs.

I hope Tracy plays tonight and puts together a better performance than his last game. He literally looked like the worst player on our team.

yep, there was more than one instance last night where I glanced for a fraction of a second at another player on the court while Harrow had the ball and he had blown by his defender by the time i looked back

Granted, the level of competition might not always be ACC caliber in this, but he leaves people looking like they're standing in concrete.

I don't think that will be a problem for Harrow and Brown, but I do worry about CJ looking for the big play too many times.

just watched the video highlights on PP. Those guys definitely started clowning around. By the looks of it, on several possessions it seems that whenever a shot is attempted, the guards on defense start running down court. So when their post guys grab the rebound, they heave it to the other end for the guards to get an easy basket, or at least a 2-on-1 breakaway.

Pretty boring basketball if you ask me. It just becomes a race to see who can sprint to the other end the fastest. Typical though of summer league and showcase events.

I did appreciate Uchebo attempting to run an offensive set and setting high ball screens for the guards.

I think freshman phenom Rodney Purvis was playing with Team McGladrey in the game I watched last Tuesday. I'm almost positive it was him, he is not on their roster, but he is on the roster of another team. Would be great if he played with CJL, Harrow, Tracy, LoBrown and even Uchebo cause they can all get in his ear and try to sway him towards the pack. Purvis is already the top ranked prospect in the 2013 class and has all sorts of comparisons to John Wall, just people think hes more advanced at this age than Wall was.

Based on what I've seen in the past, I'm sure Sidney has his hooks in him already

purvis has been playing on that team, but i don't think he was there for the most recent game. you're probably thinking of #13. he's in high school and i think his name is joe kendrick.

purvis has played for them though. i think first he wore #3 and then #14.

maybe so I just know that at the last game it was absolutely packed about 2 games before and they had to turn a shit ton of people away because it was at capacity. If Stackhouse is gonna be without Henson and the other 3 I would think that this would decrease the crowd drastically.

Lost by 8. FT's were a huge problem by the way the Pack Insider blog sounded. Leslie missed a bunch. All Team Stackhouse really had to do when he took it to the basket was hack.

The first 12 minutes or so was great basketball, Stackhouse hit a bunch or 3's...Bullock and Barnes are both great players. P.J. Hairston was shooting well also.

Harrow has the ball on a string, and brown is a solid player, CJ can be nasty when his head is in it, but he was injured early (might have been a cut) and never seemed to get back into the game.

Overall I am glad I made the trip, this will be a fun team to watch next year, hopefully they can all adjust with our current guys and to the college game.

the first 5-10 minutes were great. after that it was ugly. after leslie left for his hurt finger he was off the rest of the game. turnover, missed free throws, missed catches, etc. brown still trying to do too much on his own. harrow was impressive.

oh and uchebo is gonna be nasty. he can rebound and start the break really well. also has pretty good handles for a big guy.

unc team was carried by non-unc guys most of the way. barnes came on towards the end and finished with 18, but pj hairston was lights out for the majority of the game.
