I just read the stupidest fucking post in sports talk, and when I looked at the user, it was face. I forgot to load the Better Wolf Web on my new machine. Problem has been resolved.

I stopped working on it because I was led to believe there were changes coming for the site years ago. They never materialized. Since then, I have not kept up with any changes in how user scripts are implemented, so it wouldn't surprise me if the script just doesn't work at all anymore.

All right, so promising nothing here, but I've revisited this. I've spent a little time building a Firefox extension to bring the big three features back in some form: user blocking, NSFW protection, and conversion of media links (especially YouTube links) to embedded media controls.

It wasn't that bad. I don't think I'll be bringing back the web services for voting on threads, etc. since maybe five people would actually use the extension, though.

If I get to a point where I'm satisfied with the functionality, I will look into packaging the extension and submitting it to Mozilla's add-ons site.

Is there a feature besides the three I mentioned that would be a deal-breaker for anyone? Note that I don't care if using Firefox is a deal-breaker for you. Maybe it will be coincidentally usable with Chrome.

The listing isn't pretty, but it does what it says on the tin. If you want to block a user, make sure you check those settings on the preferences page (which also shows after installing), then click the "Block this user" link added to the user profile screen on the site just like the old Greasemonkey script.

I will probably add a screen for managing your blocked users so you don't have to go find the motherfuckers to unblock them if you decide you want to unblock them, but let's be real: You're all going to block the same three people and never unblock them again, so whatever.
