Having Overgaard really opens up the stretch plays for state. Some of the greener guys weren't able to get the reach block and it usually led to a loss unless we used the misdirection to boot russell out

If RW gets his mind right again in the pocket and we can beat FSU then I feel the division can be ours, but we need a big performance from RW to not only win the game but give all of us confidence he can still be the best QB in the ACC. If we get RW back to the way he played up until the 2nd half of the VT game then I don't see a game on our schedule I'd say we should lose.

I doubt it at least not another ACC game.. basically after the VT debacle we are left having to win out. FSU has an easier schedule than ours down the stretch and no game I see them losing.

They play both of those games at home.. we play both on the road as well as maryland on the road. As I said their schedule sets up much easier than ours down the stretch even if we do win this game.

Overgaard was available and played against BC and ECU. Christophe was injured for both of those games. Our lineup going into the FSU game is exactly the same as BC and ECU. No new injuries, no new players returning from injury.

it still counts negatively toward your acc record, determining whether you go to the acc championship
but, in a sense, it's not the same b/c you're not giving an acc win to a member of your division by your loss you're giving it to an opposing division winner, so you can never truly put the two w's on par with each other

Makes sense to me. What gunzz is saying is that a loss to FSU is worse than a loss to UNC. In the standings, a loss to a same-division team bumps them up a spot in the division and us down a spot, making it harder to catch back up.

We could lose to UNC and still play in the ACCCG, as long as FSU lost to us and a couple more ACC teams also.

^^true. but if you go back to the original statement. He said we would beat FSU and then lose to Carolina. If we beat FSU and then FSU wins out and we lose to UNC, then we finish 2nd in the division. That's what he was saying. Stop over analyzing everything.

Also, I am probably going to the MD game. Anyone know of any tickets floating around and why on Stubhub does it say that the lower level has lower seating with obstructed views? Are the seats directly on the field and the fans are obstructed by the players on the sideline?
