was it just me, or was Locke's reaction/response really awkward and strange when Mason mentioned the pilot girl (again, no idea her name) landing and telling them about Charleston?

it was like he had no idea who/what he was talking about. I thought for sure there would be more to her than that this season

One thing I wish they would stop doing is having a character disappear for what they declare will be "for good", then have them come back in 2 episodes.

Pope and the other guy leave because Pope is not trustable anymore. One episode later, they reappear.
Weaver's daughter shows up and then leaves the same episode to permanently stay away from the conflict. 2 episodes later, she's back.
Ben leaves to find the rebel force. One episode later, he's back.

That plot device is wearing thin.

I'm thinking maybe that was somehow some kind of "decoy" overlord and she wasn't actually connected to it in any way. One thing that kind of annoys me is that they haven't even questioned Ben as to why he and other harnessed kids are so loyal to their skitters. Given that Ben would rather be with the red eye skitter instead of his family and friends, you'd think they would forcefully restrain him and put him under some kind of psychological evaluation.


Also, what exactly did cutting off Ben's harness do? I guess before it was cut off he was just a mindless slave and now he has free will but chooses to be with the skitters?

cutting off the harness slowed his transformation from human into a full skitter.


season 1 they did the autopsy on the skitter and found a harness deep inside the body attached to a spinal column of some sort. and in the penultimate episode you saw the small harnessed girl was deep into her transformation with her skin becoming scaley and her hands and fingers having grown into skitter like claws

I didn't put that together when I saw that for reason but that makes sense. However, wouldn't red eye be able to tell the humans that his species was something else and that the kids were being turning into skitters?

she has further transformed than Ben was. They talked about getting the harness' off of some kids early enough on so that they were able to be restored as normal humans. But Ben and Rick were further along, and that young girl was even further than that.

I watched the season premiere, I liked it. The action and CGI is impressive for basic cable. The opening scene was great.

The youngest of the three brothers HAS TO CUT HIS HAIR though. It is like a curly mohawk.

the low point in the series was when the Librarian shot down the alien aircraft with an RPG. the show improved exponentially after that shit storm

cheesy as hell in some parts..... and the freaky little baby is super creepy, running around and talking and shit. So is it infected with that parasite that Tom Mason had in his eyeball or did the alien invasion induce hyperevolution to be more competitive with the alien attackers??

I am curious how they will explain this one.


Also it should be obvious that Hal is the 'mole'. They all recognize the Alien Karen did something to him, so no one can connect the dots that she has a link into his head?? derrr

But at least everyone I like doesn't die.... cough cough game of thrones
