he's gonna start and is supposed to play the first 3 quarters, so that should give everyone a better idea of his potential numbers

i think i won last week since my 7/12 prediction was pretty close to his 7/14 line but some expected more playing time (or thought the dolphins defense sucked or something) but this time we should have a better idea of reps

well I'm really starting to think our receivers are as bad or even worse than people think, I'd almost want newton to wait for smitty or at least go against a 2nd team defense so his confidence doesn't take a beating like clausen

His confidence is a stain you can't wipe off. I'm not worried about that. What I am worried about is his ability to create 3rd and manageables, and then convert those opportunities at a decent rate.

Mick Mixon was just on with Adam and Joe on my way home from work and he shared a little story about how Cam asked Smitty and Lafell to stay after practice today to run some extra routes/throws. Practice was already around 3.5 hours and they stayed after for 20-30 minutes. After the extra throwing session Mixon said that he was walking with the 3 guys and Smitty looked at Cam and thanked him for the extra practice, then Cam said something like "no, thank you".

Sounds like it might be a little romanticized, but it does show Cam's desire to get better and the relationship they are developing

I am sure I am thinking like the rest of you...having Smitty on the field will allow Cam to find the open WR/TE and make some more decent plays. Even more, he may be able to connect with Smitty and really show something special.
