Well, Mason Plumlee is a really good college big man. It's just that the rest of the team would rather jack threes like every year than give him the ball. He was something ridiculous like 9-9... not his fault they took 4,328 outside shots and Austin Rivers decided to try and shoot them out of the tournament..

Duke had three players on the court that couldn't do shit. Cook and Thornton. Thornton hustles but isn't even great at d. Dawkins can't do shit but shoot 3s. Duke had three players on the court thatcouldn't do shit that game.

If you add in Curry that means they were playing four players that couldn't play a lick of defense at this level. That is too much to overcome from a face perspective. Those are negative emi players.

Rivers is talented but also had a negative emi that night so they played the plumlees were the only players with a postive emi that night and rivers and mason were really the only dominant players they had all season.

Rivers can't be good without Kelly in the game to stretch the floor. The kelly injury killed rivers so in reality it took away their top 2 scorers.

They were already a bad defensive team. Recruiting cook was just a bad idea. He would be great for a team with big wing players.
