....and then the catch up mechanic nonsense makes my player shoot 0% on wide open shots... and 50 points in one half.

I'm squaring off against John Wall and the Washington Wizards in My Player. I've drawn 5 fouls on Wall, it's late in the 2nd quarter, and they haven't taken him out of the game at all.

Including one of those bullshit fouls where you just pick a spot 40 feet from the basket when he's bringing it up court and you hold B to stand there like you're setting a pick and protecting your nuts, and he runs into you

2K12 myplayer is legit. The AI only uses 1 player to inbound the ball, free 20 steals per game.

MyPlayer is in year 2022 but everyone has retired and its all random computer generated scrubs.

The Heat traded for Shelden Williams and he just came into the game. I think they just used the same graphics model as some generic monster from another EA game.

I wouldn't be surprised, I don't think their facial construction interface can allow eyes to be that far apart.
