ok so tillman vs hellickson in tampa and matsuzaka vs kuroda in new york. this is not a desirable situation for game 162.

but not winning the division may not be that bad as long as the o's win the play-in game. they'd get the yankees for the first 2 games of the ALDS in baltimore. i kinda like that better than the old system because winning the first 2 games puts you in a pretty good position for the rest of the series.
