Regarding the lobby question, there is a known issue with public lobbies for PS3 right now.

the thing that impresses me about the game is the realism of the sounds...

i mean the ar variant guns fucking sound like ARs both cocking and shooting.

the echos and footsteps all sound real...

i wish it wasn't though... i friggin miss sitrep.

I picked a copy up today and it also came with Nuketown 2025.

I played 3 ground war matches and had no issues other than not knowing the maps. I leveled up to a level 5 (whatever rank they call it) with about 50 kills. K/D is about 1.2, which isn't terrible considering I have no clue which way to look if nobody is showing up on the map....

multiplayer has a lot of potential to be awesome. it isn't. somehow this game has more network issues than even black ops 1. without dedicated servers, or at least better network coding, these games will never be half as fun as they could be. it's as if they designed this game so that everybody is mediocre -- you almost aren't allowed to be really good. i average 30-40 kills per game (with single digit deaths being normal) on pretty much any past cod i've played. on this i am lucky to get 15-20 kills and i'm positive maybe half the time.

It seems they've taken away most of the reason to prestige in this game. I just prestige to get another class slot but the other 2 choices are pointless imo. You can get an extra class slot, refund all spent tokens, or reset all your stats. WTF is the point in refunding your tokens since you just win them again, all your stuff is already "bought", and you still have to level up to unlock? Resetting stats seems even more pointless.

All I have to say about the campaign is fuck that stupid horse. I fucking hated that sack of glue with hooves. Stupid horse kept getting in my way when I was trying to use the stinger. Once it walked in front of my while I was firing the stinger causing it to blow up in my face and therefore kills me.

Also my AI teammates can suck it too. "Oh is that a bad guy I ran up to stand beside? No problem I will just stand here and ignore him. That'll show him." Worthless group of AI teammates ever made.


That being said the last few missions were great. The story was good. The ending after the credits might be the proof the developers were high during the making of the game.

i would hope you would know that:

1. i'm not about to even consider starting something like that (read my post again)
2. it isn't about the removal of a map so much as it's a blatant bait and switch by a company with more than enough history to know better; they used this particular map as a huge selling point without mentioning that it'd get pulled a week later
