haha, it's in addition to, if you'd like to get your coolest faster. Essentially, if you help them sell one at full cost (minus the coupon), then that will allow them to ship your kickstarter order. Otherwise, kickstarters must continue to wait for retail sails to subsidize their orders.

I'd describe it more as nifty than anything else. This obviously would never be a primary tool for anything, but it is nice to have something small (in my wallet) that I can use in a pinch. I also sometimes carry a leatherman (much heavier), so depending on the need, I can attack issues in 2 ways if I don't have access to full size tools.

The sockets are ok; you have to have a protruding socket head and plenty of work room to use the card (somewhat obvious), so it is limited in that regard. It's nice for a quick measurement or a sketching aid. Does ok as a screw driver, again, as long as there is enough room to fit.

The black is more easily scuffed / scratched (or at least more visible), but I expected that.

Per my SOP, I took the belt clip off and promptly lost it (the clip). Not that I planned on using it, I just hate I lost it within 48 hours.

TL;DR: A nice, small, lightweight, and easily portable pocket tool that can be useful in a pinch under the right situations. Probably a bit expensive for what it is. Probably best used as a supplemental tool to a good multi-tool if you have one. Or, it's better than nothing. If you're into multi-tool type gadgets, you'll probably like it.

My question comes from the product being successful and being sold commercially, but not being provided to the backers. To me, that seems like potential legal issues, to me.
