That conference ex-bf/gf scene made no sense to me.

Why would they agree to a conference, and then stay in there and just argue about petty things, knowing that was obviously Andy's plan? Nonsensical plot points abound.

I've always liked Gabe.

The forced conflict between Jim and Pam is ruining the season. They did the same shit with Glenn and that hot piece of ass on The Walking Dead. You got raped so I'm mad at you. Stupid.

I got the feeling that they just spliced some rushed Todd Packer 'story' as filler for a heavily edited version of the pilot episode they filmed for The Farm. At least that's the vibe that I got.

And The Farm must have been worse than 1600 Penn, which is a scary thought.

i probably would have liked The Farm based solely around Nora Kirkpatrick.

and the Schrute rendition of Sons & Daughters was well done.

Not the best episode, but not the worst episode (of this season) by a long shot.

Definitely was sloppily edited, though.

^5 actually if you read the episode description they say exactly that.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Farm_(The_Office)#Production

Quote :
"The Farm" was the fifth episode produced, but was the seventeenth aired, as noted by its production number.[1] It was originally supposed to act as a backdoor pilot for a spin-off series starring Wilson and focusing on Dwight....Executive producer Greg Daniels revealed that the episode would have additional material shot so that it fits better into the season, as the original version contained "certain aspects that were appropriate for a pilot of a new show""

Decent ep. It's like they're trying to have some fun with it near the end.

Andy taking the role of a typical TWWer via Youtube.

Ellie is tolerable - funny even.

'bout time to wrap up the Jim/Pam nonsense though.

What is the point of this Jim/Pam drama in the final season? Is anybody actually going to believe there's a chance they'd split them up or what?

I didn't really get Pam and the boom mic, either.

She knew they filmed everything, but then he says "not exactly" and she freaks out and leaves?

Too much up-and-down emotion in the Jim / Pam / BoomMic triangle for me to properly understand the intent of the writers.

Seems obvious to me. The invasion of privacy is the reason they will end the camera crew follow along, and thus wrap up the show we see. And I agree, the Pam/Jim stuff is bullshit.

Makes sense, but I kinda figured that the camera crew would quit following them around since the documentary was about to be aired. Now that the documentary is set to air, the camera crew's work is complete. But that may not be the case.

I did enjoy the episode overall though. And like everybody else, this Jim/Pam stuff is pretty dumb.

Don't get me wrong, it was a pretty damn good episode. I guess I just referred to it as a filler because they have a series to end and I really didn't feel like it moved very much closer to that.

Tuned in for the first time in a month. Last night was the best ever? I must have missed some absolute stinkers. Man they have really lowered people's expectations.

So Jim and Pam's relationship is on the rocks because... why exactly? I guess this episode was meant to give the reason. Jim makes decisions without Pam... like the time he bought a house in her most favorite city before they even got married. Their couple rift drama really brings the show down. Not that I care about whether they maintain a relationship, I just hate the screen time it takes up... but given the other stories/comedy the show is offering I guess it isn't taking away from anything.

Opinion, subjective, Debbie Downer, etc.

If you think this was a good episode you are stupid. The Stanley storyline had some funny parts but everything else was garbage. The Jim/Pam discussing their relationship was retarded. This show just wants to have its Friends moment of Jim and Pam reuniting in the last scene.

The Stanley/Dwight thing definitely had me laughing, as did the Kevin "secret" thing. But I've always preferred the episodes that focus less on Jim and Pam or Michael/Andy screwing up and more on the secondary characters.

After all the effort put into the Pam and Jim martial issues (boom mic guy, Pam wanting to stay in Scranton), the writers seemed to get lazy with their resolution.

Yeah, my wife loved the ending of last night's episode with Jim and Pam...but I thought it was super cheesy and, as someone already mentioned, a rushed resolution to the whole storyline.

Decent ep I've always enjoyed the episodes where some arbitrary event brings everyone together (fun run, survivor island, etc).

Really enjoyed Erin mocking Clark, and Clark's reaction, too.

I don't know why they are taking the predictable route.

Would be so memorable / such a boss move to have some crazy controversy like Pam sleeping with boom mic guy.
