i'm with you on Aminu. almost every time i check in on New Orleans, which is often because i'm basketball love with Anthony Davis, Aminu does something badass.

even though Gasol is the superior player, i think Anderson is the best compliment to Dwight Howard in the league. that'd be a bango move for the Lakers, if they could nab him.

with their salaries/assets, i can't think of a workable package, but if Houston could either Al Jefferson or Al Horford, they'd be great.

i think Jefferson is a free agent this summer and the Rockets have cap space. they should give him a hard look.

22 points on 22.5 shots isn't terrible, its barely inefficient. Since he's going up against one of the toughest defensive teams in the league its pretty reasonable.

He's going to the line almost ten times a game

wouldn't say he exactly "starts". He's a 3rd PG on most teams and a #2 on a select few. Obviously John Wall is hurt and he plays ~40 minutes so backup PG isn't a priority for the wizards.

Price has been TERRIBLE in prior seasons and he's shooting 33% FG this season so far...

Knicks-Spurs is not on TNT? Really?

Anyway, came here to say its really weird seeing a bonafide superstar like Greg Stiemsma struggling so far this year. 37% from the field isn't going to cut it.

I know it's early but if Z-bo plays like this through out the season he should be a MVP candidate

also based on being one ugly man

ugh i put $20 on grizzlies at 20:1 to win the west. i know i'll never see that $20 again, but it's a hedge if the lakers and spurs sustain injuries.

Look out, with another couple decent games Westbrook could crack 40% FG.

face, curious what you think of Andre Drummond so far. In limited minutes his numbers are good it seems. And considering your love of guys who get limited minutes but have high rate statistics like Steimsma I'd assume you're impressed.

Austin Rivers, as you predicted, has been dreadful..

Thru 14 games, drummond has been nothing short of incredible.

If you redo the draft today he goes #2 or at least #3 overall and that's not a knock against MKG.

Clearly he's not going to keep up this pace, but for a 19 year old center his production is literally off the charts so far.

He clearly seems motivated by all the bust talk surrounding him all offseason, but that's not enough to explain his incredible transformation. This is just one of those examples where keeping it real goes wrong.

Inexplicable

Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace combined for 45 minutes and 20 points in the Knicks/Nets match-up

i'm waiting to hear that Jeff McInnis gets picked up by the D-League and Dante Calabria is leading the Philippines in 3 point shooting

Harden had a rough night against his former team last night. 3-16...ouch.

On the year:

Harden: 24.5, 5.3 asts, and 4.2 rebs on 43% shooting. Add in .6 blks and 1.73 stls a game.

Westbrook (the vastly inferior player): 20.7, 8.6 asts, and 4.6 rebs on 43% shooting. Add in .25 blk and 1.69 stls a game.

Oh...and Harden is averaging one more turnover per game.

Coach Pop is sitting out the big 3 for the spur/heat game tonight

keep your starters in for those scrub games but not against high competition where everyone wants to see.

heat will probably get blown out b/c they wont give a damn too.

Pop is doing this in response to a tough, long road schedule, whereas the Heat haven't played since Saturday...

Also, I'm glad Stern is pissed, like he cares about fans:

Quote :
""I apologize to all NBA fans," he said. "This was an unacceptable decision by the San Antonio Spurs and substantial sanctions will be forthcoming.''"
