I was surprised that UNC didn't get a better seed. I was thinking they may have played their way to a 6 or 7 seed. But UNC really doesn't have any big wins. They beat us and UNLV. Unless I'm missing someone, that's pretty much it. We at least beat Duke (and obviously UNC).

thinking about it, i'm not surprised. the 3-5 acc seeding was decided upon by lesser acc teams (obviously duke for unc). and UNC had an easy run to the acc finals because maryland beat duke, so that didn't mean much for them especially seeing as how they lost.

i was having this convo with a UNC fan on Streak for the Cash earlier, trying to convince him to pick Miami

aside from bringing up us and UNLV (who was, to his credit, ranked when they beat them), he said they also beat Florida State, and they were good...I pointed out when UNC beat FSU, they were 10-5 with losses to Mercer...can't remember who the other team he tried to argue was, maybe Virginia?

but yeah, UNC didn't beat Duke at all, and got beat 3 times by Miami

a.The entire ACC is underseeded. I don't understand why the conference gets no respect. Well yeah I do its because a lot of our better team lost to random shit teams back in november.

b. the 8 seeds are crazy strong. pitt is the best 8 seed ever. I won't be surpised if 2 1 seeds are knocked out of the 2nd round.

c. choketown has the first weekend on a platter. sdsu as a 7? please.
