Unc Asheville almost beat Syracuse last year in the same situation--it basically ended with that lane violation call that never gets called except when it's convenient to call (like the tuck rule)

Also, the officiating in the gonzaga game was atrocious. If fouls were called, it'd probably be the same result, but some of the fouls were really obvious. The clock ran down fast on southern because no fouls we're called.

Oregon game wasn't really that much of an upset. When you have a team that's top 50 in off reb pct and def reb pct, it was pretty easy to pick them over the cowboys

I don't mind Gottlieb as color man (i.e. he couldn't have replaced Gus, who was a play-by-play, but I digress). He's pretty raw and scientific in his analysis. He doesn't hold back his opinion, especially on ref calls, which is refreshing, and you know he knows a shit ton about the game.
