Not necessarily, there's a fake jeyne theory floating out there that blackfish saved her, but its a stretch.

Which ceremony?? I think he was killed at his own wedding.
I thought I read that the Tyrell wedding would be pushed to next season...and it would be in like episode 2 or 3...but I can't remember where I read it.
How many episodes are in this season?? Aren't they listed by the title of the episode somewhere? That would be an easy way to see if Joffrey's wedding would in it.

Well Oberyn Martell is Tryion's Champion after he is accused, so it would seem likely that he would be introduced during the Purple Wedding, and he hasn't been casted yet, but anything could happen. 5/21/2013 11:59:01 AM |

you know, somewhere in those pages and pages where GRRM feels the need to describe every iota of food present

I couldn't care less about her survival, but it fucks things up if she really is pregnant and eventually has a kid
so I'm hoping 1) she's a liar, or 2) she dies or 3) she drinks some moon tea
[Edited on May 21, 2013 at 12:19 PM. Reason : though I don't think the show truly needs her character any more, once Robb is dead]5/21/2013 12:08:53 PM |

She looks the best naked though...followed Melisandre, then Dany.
But I think you're right about the necessity of her character...unless GRRM decides to do something with her in his final books...I just can't imagine how he could make her relevant again. 5/21/2013 1:30:04 PM |

I'm entirely positive that Jeyne Westerling will not have any significant role in the story going forward. She's not prancing around the Riverlands with the Blackfish and she's certainly not pregnant. It's why the showrunners were totally free to just replace her character in the TV show with someone who has an entirely different back story. 5/21/2013 1:38:40 PM |

How is Tyrion a dragon? Bran is more likely to be one of the dragons, at least then you have a reason why Rhaegal is green.

Remember back in book 1 when Tyrion gave Robb the designs for a saddle so that Bran could ride horses? Perhaps it is foreshadowing that Tyrion will use a similar saddle on dragons. 5/22/2013 9:44:46 AM |

Yeah, the three dragons are gonna be Jon, aegon, and danaerys. Even if aegon is a blackfyre (which I don't believe) he is still technically a targ by blood since they were legitimized. And it would make both the other targs danaerys nephews.. 5/22/2013 11:37:28 AM |

There is a whole theory where Tyrion or Cersei/Jaime are secret Targs. The thought is that Arys II raped Tywin's wife during his stint as Hand of King. It comes from passages in Game of Thrones where Tyrion talks about how he has dragon dreams and is mesmerized by fire, etc.... Also his hair color is described as more whitish then the normal Lannister gold in the books, which would not be expected since Tywin married his cousin. It might also mean that Tywin was quite literal when he told Tyrion "you are no son of mine". I personally don't buy it, mostly because we have enough secret Targs running around.

^ I've never bought that theory because tywin would never have allowed him to be born, he would have had Joanna drinking gallons of moon tea. And if he was born tywin would have had him killed as a baby, especially after he killed Joanna during childbirth 5/22/2013 12:17:20 PM |

Book Spoiler:
Didn't it say somewhere that Aerie's took "indecent" liberties with Tywin's wife their wedding night, I know it was really vague but there was some allusion to it I seem to remember during the bedding ceremony.5/22/2013 12:41:58 PM |

^^Yeah, it's definitely been mentioned that Aerys "lusted" after Joanna and maybe copped a feel or two during the bedding. The actual rape that may have conceived one or more Tywin's children is just speculation. 5/22/2013 12:49:05 PM |

Small differences are now pissing me off.
Bran isn't a warg. Why even bother calling him that.
They foreshadowed Jon's fate in book 5 way too much when the wildlings warg rushed into his birds body right before death. Sure it's been predicted that Jon will live in ghost, but not certain enough yet.
Why the fuck did they need to make Jon's wife pregnant. Just to stab a baby in the womb? That's obscene and completely unnecessary. And if she wasn't a spy like some people thought...why bother changing who his wife was. Really a big waste.
I'm sure there are more. Can't remeber them now. 6/2/2013 10:14:43 PM |

I agree that having Talisa be pregnant was pointless, but I'm glad they ended her and the baby all at once: it would've been weird to have her still alive after all of that
How fast do you guys think that they'll pull out Lady Stoneheart? like, will it be a bombshell before the end of this season, or wait until next season? Or will they go there at all? 6/2/2013 10:24:31 PM |

She was a non-character in the books. They turned her into a character (whom I found compelling), and having her be pregnant adds weight (BABY WEIGHT LOLZ) to the situation. Two young, healthy people are fucking like rabbits in a world without condoms. Why wouldn't she be pregnant?

Wtf are you talking about? Bran, and all the stark children are wargs with their direwolves. Bran is also a greenseer but still a warg. Orell wargs into his eagle in the books when jon kills him, the eagle later attacks him before varamyr sixskins takes control of it. And they made talis pregnant to put to rest the theories/rumors that jeyne westerling has been switched by the blackfish and is secretly pregant.6/2/2013 11:17:59 PM |

The name for the next episode is "Mysha", which translates to "mother" obviously that is what they call Dany, but it would work for Lady Stoneheart pretty good as well.6/2/2013 11:18:08 PM |

Ok right, Bran is a warg...but the show is making it confusing. My gf had to ask me why he was a warg all of the sudden and then she thought Jojen was a warg too.
Quote : | "That happens in the book too." |
The problem is that they're throwing the word warg around every chance they get in the show. They didn't really start talking about wargs until Jon's foreshadowing. This happens in the book, but it's much more subtle than it was in the show. Putting things on a screen makes everything so much more explicit. Seeing his eyes go white, clearly be dead, and his bird continue to attack Jon doesn't leave any doubt whatsoever.
Quote : | "And they made talis pregnant to put to rest the theories/rumors that jeyne westerling has been switched by the blackfish and is secretly pregant." |
This is somewhat heresay isn't it? Do you really think George would ask them to make her pregnant in the show just to satisfy some book readers that still don't believe him after he told them it was his mistake when he described her hips in opposite ways on accident?
HBO clearly did it to make it more sensational and disturb people even further.
