Matt Dayes is very bouncy in between the tackles. If we had an offensive line that could block someone for longer than 1/4 of a second, he might have a hole to bounce into sometime.

That 3rd and 3 was miserable. It was a read option and in read options, there is supposed to be one of the options open. Both of the options were hit 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Mother of God

I think whenever we actually have decent players the coaching staff will probably be able to do something with them. With Mitchell/Smith/Crisp/Byrd(are Crisp and Byrd still out?) out in addition to the general lack of talent we had in the first place, I mean, not a lot to work with.

^^^the tough part about that is that we're in the shotgun. Can't really do that offsides/snap play when in the shotgun. Thomas also can't snap the ball. That is on the center. The center has to be aware enough to see that happen and snap the ball(which, with us in the shotgun, runs a great risk of a fumble). That is something that Phil used to be great at, but we did it under center.
