What a pathetic, disgraceful showing that was. Just like last year when we got ranked and went to Notre Dame and we got spanked to bring us back to reality. I can definitely understand losing at #3 Clemson but to play like that is embarrassing. It will take several weeks of winning for me to get excited about this team after a game like that.

Watching the replay of Harmon's dropped pass wide open that would have been a touchdown is painful but really sums up NC State shit...

Nah, we were barely a speed bump to Clemson yesterday. Take away all the piss poor mistakes and poor play and maybe we put up 21 points or so. We were clearly inferior and outclassed and taking an L no matter what.

Hopefully the guys can shake this one off and we still manage 10 wins or so. Could still be a great year.

i went to the game and don't have any regrets - but i live in atlanta so it was only a 2 hour drive. if i had known the game wasn't going to be competitive I would've stayed home, but i felt like it was worth rolling the dice.

for those you who have never been to a game at Clemson, they have the following order of patriotic and pious rituals before their home games:
1) singing of "god bless america"
2) reciting of the pledge of allegiance
3) an invocation prayer over the PA
4) the national anthem
5) play ball and smash some heads in boys.

strangely i found saying the pledge of allegiance to be the most disturbing. i had not done that since elementary school, and it made me feel like a freaking child. and i was definitely instructed to "remove your hat and place your hand on your heart"

weird.

the fans were super friendly though. almost stepford like. a bunch of friendly orange clad god-and-dabo-lovin' robots.
