I will say, however, that Wacoal makes some sexy bras I want to buy when I have the money
they actually make some cute/sexy ones in my size:

Frederick's makes lots of pretty bras in small and large sizes.
I am 32A, gonna get some fake boobs when I can afford it. I HATE having my only 2 bra options being Fredericks (no store around here) and the Kohl's teen section. 6/11/2008 12:28:47 PM |

I like the molded cups a lot better than just fabric. My nips are always on point, so the molded cups helps to keep those puppies down I usually buy the "full coverage" so I don't have to worry about "falling out" either.
The black and white bra is very pretty, but it's a demi-cup so you're definitely gonna fall out if you try to lie down and are large breasted. 6/11/2008 12:47:55 PM |

I dont know about that- I am very large and swear by demi bras. Full coverage ones rub my armpits and make things uncomfortable.
Don't forget about figleaves, either.

There was 25 pages of 32A bras.
I'm a 32GG cup, and never have a hard time buying from them. I never wear minimizers, though, I would rather get my clothes tailored to fit. God gave me ginormous boobies, and darn it, I am proud of them. Plus they give you a label for returns so you can buy like six and return the ones that don't fit for free. 6/11/2008 12:59:38 PM |

Ya know what...haha The bra I have on today is a demi-cup. I guess I mean the super low cut ones if that makes sense now.
Word on the tailoring!!!!
I will check out that website after lunch 6/11/2008 1:02:08 PM |

nah
I tried it on, it separates and lifts without that "omg! falling out!" feeling
and yes, I love figleaves: some of the fantasie bras have been good to me

I don't want that kind of hassle, mine aren't that big in the cup (at least not beyond most store sizes, anyway). I just want to be able to button my shirts and such.

Only 62 push up. Fewer that are padded push up (what I wear) and many of those are brands I've already tried on and don't like. Plus I happen to really like Fredericks, just wish they had a store in Raleigh.6/20/2008 2:14:49 PM |

A bra that could harness the untapped power of breast motion!
Quote : | "Lawson explained that breasts move on three different axes: from side to side, front to back, and up and down. The most motion is generated on the vertical axis. Naturally, the bigger the breast, the more momentum it generates. "Let's face it—if you're a double-A marathoner, you're probably not going to get that iPod up and running," Lawson said. Measurements compiled by Lawson and her colleagues show that a D-cup in a low-support bra can travel as much as 35 inches up and down (35 inches!) during exercise, while a B-cup in a high-support bra barely moves an inch.
I said that it probably wasn't. Yet after a moment's thought, Rome came up with an idea. The Lightning Pack uses a rotary generator, which converts motion into energy by winding a rotor as the backpack moves up and down. Rotary generators produce up to 7 watts of energy, enough to power a compact fluorescent light bulb. Rome said it might be possible to insert a linear generator into the bra. A linear generator is a lot smaller and creates energy by moving a piston up and down. Rome conceded that with the right body type, this just might work, though he warned it "probably wouldn't be very comfortable."" |

I tried the Nair Shower stuff today.
Would not recommend. It was as much a hassle getting it on as it is to shave, the sponge to use is flimsy as hell (feels like it's falling apart halfway through the first leg, even though it's not), and it's irritating as hell.
I don't use nair stuff often at all, and I've never had an allergic reaction, but my legs won't stop itching. I've scrubbed some with a moisturizing body wash, but I couldn't take much.
I hope it stops before I go to work 7/7/2008 12:32:35 PM |

Glad you said that!
I stared at a bottle of Veet and that nair stuff for a good 10 minutes trying to figure out if I should try it or not.
Yay for saying no! 7/7/2008 12:35:41 PM |

I've had the same experience with Nair, it's irritating as hell to my skin 7/7/2008 12:37:15 PM |
Skwinkle burritotomyface 19447 Posts user info edit post |
I just gave up on all depilatories period. I tried a few different kinds of Nair, Veet, and whatever else is out there I'm sure, and nothing worked, and they all hurt.
On a related note, I got some free Eos shaving lotion, which I like for its result but not for it being pleasant to use. It's a very thick lotion, which makes it less easy to apply in the shower than a gel or cream, and it feels a little gross. However, it leaves my skin softer (both from moisturization and a seemingly better shave) than anything else I've used for a longer period of time, so I do like it in that respect. 7/7/2008 12:42:16 PM |

i was just thinking about veet because whenever i see the commercials it looks so easyyyy. but now i've finally found a razor i really really like so that works. for some reason men's razors ALWAYS work better than the women's equivalent. i don't get it. like the women's gillette sensor excel, no...not as good as the mens.
so mens razors for me it is.
and the only shaving gel (i have to use gel creams just aren't enough for me) that hasn't irritated my skin as of late is gillette satin care alluring avocado. it makes legs very very smooth and doesn't irritate me. like everything irritates my legs i have really sensitive skin i think.

I really like the Gillette Fusion. I was afraid it would be hard to use a 5-bladed razor in certain areas, but it does a great job. 7/7/2008 3:28:53 PM |

^i thought about giving that razor a try. the venus and all the subsequent venus razors didn't really work well for me. and i don't really like the schick women's stuff at all. so that is why i have the gillette sensor excel. but the 5 blade did scare me a little haha. but i might try it out.

definitely! I use my husband's razor blades and they actual attach to my old venus razor handle so i don't have to keep stealing his. And that way we only have to buy one kind of razor blade so it works out for both of us!7/7/2008 3:37:23 PM |

i got a brazillian wax, and i would definitely say that it was worth it. it didn't hurt as bad as i was afraid it was going to, i had fewer ingrown hairs when it grew back out, and the hairs that did grow back were much finer and softer, it took way longer to grow back, and when it did it wasn't all stubbly. i was afraid it was going to be really awkward having some stranger down there waxing and plucking, but i went to an aveda salon and the lady was really awesome and nice. she made me feel very comfortable and didn't leave me completely exposed like i was afraid. also it was in a private room with music and incense... very nice. i highly recommend.
as far as my legs, i still shave, but my hair is pretty fine, so i don't have to shave very often.

I thought waxing would be the way to go, and have tried it a few times, but apparently my skin is sensitive or something, because I always get foliculitis. And that really really sucks, so no more waxing for me. But I can agree with you on the not finding it as creepy as you thought it would be. 7/7/2008 4:19:27 PM |

oh that sucks
i was happy i finally tried it and i like it, because everytime i shaved that area i would cut myself, and it would inevitably be stubbly by the next day 7/7/2008 4:21:58 PM |

I haven't found a way around the stubble yet
If I try to shave two days in a row, I do end up getting ingrown hairs, and it's also a little uncomfortable like the skin needs time to rest in between days. So it's stubble, smooth, stubble, smooth ... 7/7/2008 4:23:53 PM |
