It's fresh on my mind because Jose was talking about he was more hated than "_________" in Barcelona now (referring to the player that I can't think of) after Inter won last week.

I remember them saying that a pig's head and other shit was thrown at him upon his return to the Nou Camp in a Madrid shirt..

i just thought of michael laudrup i remember playing for both, but i doubt its him. so i looked up and found this tidbit:

Quote :
"The rivalry has also been strengthened throughout time by Real Madrid and Barcelona top players who have defected to their arch-rival. Notable Barcelona players who have later played for Real Madrid include Bernd Schuster (1988), Michael Laudrup (1994) and Luís Figo (2000). Luis Enrique switched from Real Madrid to Barcelona in 1996 and went on to captain the Blaugrana."

FIGO!

props JT

Quote :
"In 2000, Figo made a hugely controversial move to Barcelona's bitter rivals Real Madrid for a then-world record fee of around £37 million.[4] Many Barcelona fans felt betrayed by his transfer and turned against him, despite Figo having many years of success with Barcelona and having been a fan favourite for over five years. When he returned three seasons later in a league match (2002), he got a heated reception from the crowd and many started throwing objects at him as he took corners and throw-ins, including a pig's head, which resulted in Barça incurring a fine la liga."

and ribs i just remembered a recent money move made by gareth barry. claiming he moved to play in champions league, yet city were not in the CL....obvious money move he made.

Arsenal needs to wake up and beat Fulham at the Emirates this weekend because I don't see Spurs losing or drawing to Burnley.

^^ it's just delaying it by a year (or more, but at least 1). I'm just glad that the big 4 has finally been broken up (again, for at least 1 year).

i'm still considering throwing my support behind fulham in the future.

"We're close to kicking off the second half here. Just a little issue has come to my attention that Drogba had an argument with Lampard before the penalty with Drogba wanting to take it so he could get his 27th goal of the season and finish top scorer. Lampard, quite rightly, took it and scored."

id like to reiterate how much i hate and cant stand drogba. trying to put individual merit above team play...what an asshole

Drogba is selfish but 28 goals in the EPL this season he was every bit the MVP for Chelsea. Though Lampard is supposed to be the spot man.

I will take the title and hope for the double.

I still want European glory though.

all that arguing by Drogba and still gets a hat trick.

I can't really hate on Drogba for wanting to take the kick, it's not like he's worse at pk's than Lampard. The guy wants to score, and I think that's a good thing for any striker. If I was as good a striker as Drogba, I would want to take the PK too.

that game was not over. even though wigan were gonna be down a man, they were controlling possession. and still did for the rest of the half. for drogba to want to take it is selfish. lampard is the spot taker and he never misses. that game wasnt quite finished yet. im alright with him taking the 2nd pk they got when the game was definitely over, but him being selfish and wanting to take the first just shows how much of a douche he is. but pretty much everyone already knew he was a douche

^who knows if hes worse than lampard, no one else ever takes them.

yea drogba definitely is a douche. i just figure he's probably a good pk taker with how well he can shoot.

im curious to see what happens with liverpool this summer. their team is definitely in trouble.

I really wanted that Joe Cole to hit that bicycle kick. He pounded that thing in there right on target.

I'm just glad Arsenal showed up and stayed in third. A big "up yours" to Crouch for making the comment last week about taking 3rd away from Arsenal.
