Actually, I'm not even masters in all divisions either. I made that up as well. I'm bronze. I feel like I can bounce back from this though, and I'll be a stronger individual from it. Clearly my point was he grossly exaggerated the details of that story...0% chance it's even close to accurate. All he has to do is post the replay to prove me wrong but obv can't do it. The truth is Titans is mediocre at best, attempted to flex his internet muscles in a SC thread, and failed miserably once called out.

Its not so much that I'm all over him, its that we have played probably near 300 games together and it sounds exactly like something he would do. And I've done something similar on that map and gotten plenty of rage from my teammates (I'm going to go ahead and say I dont have any replays of that, sorry).

As to how there is literally no way hes telling the truth, what is your reasoning for that?

ive played enough games to know that his teammates didnt just sit there for 'five minutes' berating him as he was macroing up. I'm sure they might have said 'wtf are you doing' or something along those lines but there's 0% chance they went on for 5 minutes about it.

again, he got immediately called out about this...why no replay?

I don't save replays ever except for the 20 or so that are automatically saved. The game was played a few days before I posted, and by the time I got around to going back and looking for it the game had been shuffled out by other games I had played or I'd have posted it. To be honest, I didn't think it was that cool of a made up story that I'd have to save the replay. I double expanded on a map that it is easy to do, got yelled at by the 2 teammates for costing us the game, chose to just ignore them when they wouldn't shut up, and rolled in with mutas to end the game.

Zags has already confirmed it is not uncommon for me to not talk in games anyway. I'm sure Robit would confirm that if he wasn't gone since my lack of communication is even worse in 3v3 games we've played. Sometimes, I just do my own thing and when 2 idiots in a random team game are being annoying I just didn't feel like justifying what I was doing. So I just ignored them.

I actually used a method I learned from Zags. I dropped my first expansion hatch between the first 2 extractors that are on the right and left, and then used spines/lings to take out both sets of rocks, dropped 2 more hatches, droned like crazy, and made mutas.

Lastly, those that have played with me know I'm usually a decent macro player, so it wouldn't be surprising for me to go a risky macro route on that map. I'll often play that way in 2v2 and 3v3 games.

At this point, I just wish I had made up a cooler story since the one I apparently made up really wasn't that crazy in the first place IMO.

And just to add, your comment of replay or it didn't happen was 3 days after I had posted, and I'm not sure when I actually was online to read that. I didn't really think to post a replay because I didn't think it was really replay worthy.

I just read how much I wrote. I can't believe I'm being trolled this bad, pretty good stuff.

Yeah, as Titans said its not really something that is replay worthy. Makes for a lol story but unless they are raging super hard its not something I would care to sit through a replay for.

I dont see why its so unrealistic to think that his teammates wouldnt type every few minutes getting mad at him about what he was doing. Its not like he said they were constantly every 5 seconds typing angry messages to him and not doing anything else.

There have been far better game stories that have been posted in here that haven't been questioned.

Yeah I didn't think anyone would be surprised to hear random teammates in a 3v3 would bitch about taking both expansions on that map, especially since the other expansions are tough to defend, essentially screwing one of them out of their first expansion.

Alkatraz and I had some good macro games this morning for our 2v2 placement. One of the games was TP vs TZ (us) on the lava 2v2 map where you can take an easy 2nd. The other guys walled in their natural so we both expanded. I went mass sling/bling, Alk was tank/marine. The protoss was going 2 stargates with carriers and pushed early with like 3 voids and 4 or 5 phoenix, which Alk easily shut down. I took a third and started macroing up some corrupters/mutas after we spotted a carrier. We ended up taking out their first push and expanded behind it, all the while keeping them on two bases. The whole time I was just hiding my air units waiting for him to push with his carriers, I finally hit 200/200 and realized I had built 46 mutas and 5 corrupters. I moved the mutas into the terrans base and he immediately gged haha.

We are 4-0 so far, gotta finish our last game some other time.

Alkatraz and I finished our 5th placement game this morning to go 5-0 in placement. We got placed into Masters.

In comparison - Titans78 and I played probably 400-500 2v2's and won like 70% before we got placed into Masters.

Shitty.

I then proceeded to screw us over by having to leave midgame twice in a row for our next two games because my fiance doesnt know how to work a lawn mower and we have a window next to the PC which she banged on
