Its only a pressure 3 if they try to block it. You also remember theres not a 100% chance of a foul actually being called neither is there a 100% chance of the player who "doesn't care if he fouls" actually fouling when he makes sure the shot doesn't get off.

1) Why wouldn't they try to block it?
2) A last second shot for the win/tie is always a pressure shot

I completely forgot about this guy and this article. Goes over NYC point guards and this was written before Kemba played a game for UConn. Pretty cool shout out at the end and pretty true too.

1. because they don't want to foul. my whole thing is they do whatever it takes to not let the shot get up cleanly without worrying about fouling.

2. 3 last second free throws are also pressure shots. 3 pressure shots is more than 1. Especially when they have so much time to think about it. Its like a kicker being iced three times.

Watching the Fab Five special on ESPN brought back some bad memories. I still hate Chris Webber to this day for ruining the 1993 championship game for me, and for ruining the Michigan basketball program. I still remember loving watching the rest of them play though, but I thought Webber was a bitch. Jalen Rose was my favorite.

Yep very good telling of their story. No matter what watching Carolina win that game against a team much better than them on that timeout call makes me wanna punch a wall still to this day.

The final song was great. Reminded me of something that would be used on Friday Night Lights.

This Will Destroy You - Quiet

I thought it was cool that Rose was one of the two executive producers, and that also Rose, King, and Jackson were listed as producers as well. I think it's cool that they had some real input on how the story would be told. Brings some realism to the table.

yea that song was moving for sure

Michigan is still cleaning up and rebuilding the basketball for sure...
I love Beilein, and he will keep getting them to the tourney but in that princeton system i don't see making bigger things than the sweet 16 sometime, and that's still a big maybe... but that consistency of winning can set up the future for the maize n blue to be really strong again when the next coach comes around

and the fab five documentary was very good.. i'm a sucker for these sports documentaries

the 30 for 30 series is over (all 30 have been shown)

but ESPN has pretty much branded their documentaries as 30 for 30 (same producers and everything)

id like to see what they could do w/ the 1983 run, but im not sure there is any controversy that fits in w/ it lol ... but i guess they did make some that were generally for sports awesomeness (like 'winning time')

Here is a link to the ESPN guys complaining about how the college game isn't as good as it used to be because of players leaving for the NBA.

But, hasn't the NBA gotten better in recent years?

Article is dumb. Since Duncan, the best college players always leave early. Now they at least have to come for a year, so the college game benefits.

I wouldn't mind seeing something setup for basketball like it is for baseball

If you want to go pro right out of high school, you can

If you want to go to college, you have to stay for at least 2 years (can't remember if baseball players have to stay 2 or 3 years)

safe to say that no one cares what you, the average fan, would like to see as far as NBA policy goes.

Jalen Rose was just stating how he felt at 18. I don't think that response from Grant Hill was warranted.

^ If it was a non-issue... Jalen wouldn't have proactively apologized to Hill and Jay Williams before the show aired.
