To EuroTitToss and aaprior:

I'm not sure what my body fat percentage is. I will try to find that out today. And I suppose I will start consuming more calories through protein rather than fruit sugar and other simple carbohydrates, in addition to cutting back on the gym.

Word.

What makes this such a complicated concept for you to understand?"

Back and Bi's, plus some running.

I injured my shoulder/deltoid playing football last week, and its really hampering the weight I can do on lifts involving my shoulders

"Bodybuilders actually don't put on *rediculous* amounts of fat."

now why are you going to go mispell a word I spelled correctly originally and then take what I said completely out of context? I said bodybuilders like Lee Priest, not all bodybuilders. Lee turns into a torrential fatass during his bulking diets, and I'll be damned if you're going to convince anyone that overhanging gut and triple chin of his is muscle built with anabolic steroids. However, he never fails to strip it all off in a few months for a contest. You are right that some bodybuilders don't pack on a lot of extra bodyweight in the offseason, but that is not what I claimed in my original argument.

Any anecdotal evidence you may try to put forth about pregnant women and gargantuan morbidly obese individials isn't going to apply here. shedding 200 pounds isn't the same as shedding 60, and packing on exorbitant amounts of weight during a pregnancy so fast that it causes stretch marks isn't the same as a person who has gradually become overweight.

Excuse my total incompetence in spelling, I apologize. And as for the rest... you're right. I don't know all that much about bodybuilding so I shouldn't have tried to correct you.

i think throwing in the bit about bodybuilders and the general public is a bit off. The majority of the public doesn't do jack shit to change their physiques (fuck, i can't believe i'm using this word). The concept of altering calories (what you take in and those spent (and how they are) and macros), hell even tracking them is beyond the comprehesion/will of most people.

To porcha, take aaprior up on her offer.

Are you able to do full bodyweight squats or single legged?

I'd also drop the warm up you currently have for dynamic stretching, foam rolling, and light sets/or bodyweight stuff.

Do your static stretching after lifting.

Sometimes, I get the feeling that the only way I'll lose weight is through EBV-caused emaciation again. *Sigh* I miss slightly wowing girls when I took my shirt off. Damn.

Hey so I do a lot of running and it's really shaped up my calves and thinned out my thighs/ass, but my upper body, belly and man boobs, although they have lost some weight, haven't done as well as my lower body.

I do lots of upper body weight lifting, but is there any good solid upper body cardio workouts that will focus on ridding me of my belly and moobs?

Swimming is the first thing that comes to mind, but there's no pool at golds pleasant valley and I'd really like to be able to do my workout there or at home

thanks
