And it begins. Yesterday I clearly remember seeing Singer graded as a 77 on ESPN. This is confirmed by modlin's post on page 49. I just looked at his grade now on ESPN and it says he's graded as a 74. WTF? How can someone drop 3 points in less than 24 hours. I'll tell you how. They commit to NC State.

google cache also confirmed that he was a 77.

I saw the 77 ranking too, so I know it happened recently.

Who is Hakeem Vincent? I just heard his name on:

http://www2.bustersports.com/player/packpride.aspx?id=3571

Says he has a lot of talent but will not qualify. I did not find any info on him on scout.

Vinson will likely end up here, the only question is when. Once he gets his final grades theyll be able to figure out if he has to go to Prep or JUCO

From my post on page 40

Quote :
"DE Hakeem Vinson may prep next year. He would then enroll somewhere (possibly State) next January. The coaches really like the kid, but he probably does need to go to prep school for a semester. He was kind of in a bad situation before. When he was attending South Johnston his home was 30 minutes away so sometimes after he got done with practice it would be very late at night (close to midnight) before he would get home. This year he transferred to Mt. Zion in Durham to work on his academics and stayed at the school. This helped him out some, but probably not enough to qualify. I know he really liked State and if he preps and can qualify for a January enrollment then expect him to be a likely commit for us next year. Vinson is 6-3 235 and runs a 4.35 40. He would probably have been a highly recruited and ranked player had he been likely to qualify. I'll be pulling for him to make it to State."

lol at these Duke fans talking shit about us. congratulations you own the overall record against us, but you haven't beaten us in 16 years and only once in 20. they got a bunch of their wins back when we didn't even have scholarship players like most of the other programs in the country did and they were a powerhouse.

^ i found it hilarious when i went to other sites to see their reaction to the crisp commit and found them shitting on singer. Like that kid isn't the prototype of every unheralded, high character player TOB always pulls in and owns the Miami's and ND's with

even more hilarious that it's duke. Singer has more talent than 80% of their roster

---

the staff is working on alfy hill real hard right now. Cant say how long he wants to hold out and see how much his recruitment blows up...could get an early surprise w/ him if Creecy and a couple others jump on the momentum train though

all the duke fans were just excited because Crisp, i think, visited one of their camps. They did decently instate recruiting last year and of course think they have arrived.

I know if i had been a top recruit growing up in NC, i would have openly committed to UNCCH, then made it appear that i was having a 25% doubt about 2 weeks before signing day and hint that Duke was now in the picture. I would tell both coaches that if they recruit my position i'm bolting, and then on signing day pull out the Wolf Hat. Then for four years, i'd have all-world games when i played UNCCH and Dook.

And???? Duke football fans can't possibly be taken seriously. If I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt I had zero potential to go tothe NFL, yea I'd probably go to Duke, but over 90% of BCS recruits want to play pro ball, and Crisp certainly falls into the norm. Jerry Stackhouse also brought Jeff McCinnis with him as a package deal 15 years ago. However, I'd like to see Duke continue to play UNC tough and eventually beat them. As long as their attention is on UNC I don't think they will ever get to riled up to play us. We're in a good position with them, they'll never take their game with us as seriously as they will with UNC for the obvious reason, and because we play them twice every 5 years from here on out. Duke beating UNC would be huge from a recruting standpoint for everyone in the state not named UNC.

Fre'Shad Hunter Hunter update:
"N.C. State is one of my top schools. I have always grown up a fan of N.C. State, plus they were the first school to offer me. I like Florida and LSU as well."

N.C. State: "N.C. State football. The game atmosphere is something I love. It's crazy at game time. The coaching staff is nice. It fits me too."

"I think I am going to have to wait until signing day," he explained. "I would like to take my official visits."
___________________________________________

Da'Rick Rogers/Nash Nance
Rogers, along with teammate Nash Nance, took a big road trip to several schools during spring break. They continued their trip after the combine to South Carolina and Clemson. Alabama is in the plans for April 18.

"We visited Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, UTC, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and N.C. State," said Rogers. "There were a couple that stood out. The facilities at N.C. State were amazing. When we went to Mississippi State Dan Mullen stayed with us the whole time. Wake Forest was a pretty good place as well."

Nance's road trip left him impressed with N.C. State as well.

"We went and visited N.C. State," he stated. "That was really nice. They have some of the best facilities I have seen in the nation. Da’ Rick and I were very surprised. Their facilities are brand new. The whirlpools, and everything they had were insane."
__________________________________________________________________

Unrated Boiling Springs (SC) QB Dylan Thompson will be visiting today
__________________________________________________________________

New Offer:
Jeremy Grable picked up his first offer recently and it came from the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

Grable is a linebacker that is a leader for the Milton football team. He is a quiet young man that leads by example and the offer from N.C. State really surprised him.

The new offer is on his mind and the Auburn Tigers are a school he is highly interested in as well.
