The true benefit of this game is we will get real momentum to fire TOB. Sometimes you just need to lay bare just how deficient we are.

Turns out that winning in the Big east and squeaking by in the ACC doesn't amount to much in real football terms.

I am confident that Debbie has real expectations rather than kiddie expectations, and she will make the right call this season.

We have possibly the best secondary we have ever had. Rough Riders were good too (Lloyd Harrison, Tony Scott, Adrian Wilson, and Brian Williams). All 4 played NFL ball.

Dline and RB are looking stout for the next few years.

Besides recruiting, my main beef with TOB is that for a no-frills military guy, our teams have consistently always lacked in our fundamentals. Consistently missing open field tackles, WRs and RBs dropping balls, guys running backwards to try and gain more yards, etc.. At this point, it's gone beyond just certain players or certain positions.

Still not going to get down on the season, though. Just tired of seeing poor basic football skills in yet another season.
