Cassel @ Miami or a limping Chad Pennington vs NE?

I guess sorta obvious, just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything. Chad did pretty well against NE the first time.

Once again Lee Evans nothing because Trent Edwards is terrible. Why is everyone so high on him? He is no better than JP Losman.

I lost by one motherfucking point. Now i've lost twice to the same guy and those are my only losses. I better play him in the playoffs so I can crush him.

*sigh...OK pick 3 WR:

L. Coles @ Tenn.
S. Breaston vs. NYG
L. Moore vs. GB
S. Holmes vs. Cincy
A. Randle El @ Seattle

And pick 1 RB to go alongside A. Peterson.

Pierre Thomas vs. GB
J. Stewart @ Atl
Sammy Morris @ Miami
Mewelde Moore vs. Cincy

I've bolded who I'm leaning toward starting. Stewart is so streaky. Last time I played him, he rushed for 20 yards. And I know Moore is back to third-down back since Parker is back, and Morris has been hurt. *sigh...who knows...

Advice?

^ I would have to say Stewart. That's a big divisional matchup and I think he should get just as much if not more touches than Pierre Thomas. I think Bush is questionable and McCalister is still playing too.

Why wouldn't you play S Holmes or Randle El? Or have they not been producing? Just curious..

keep an eye on Duece's steroid trial, he might get suspended before the game

if he does, Pierre would be a decent play, especially if Bush doesnt come back

I hope you guys listened to me and played Welker over Evans.

Evans is such a bum. it's those once every 4 game explosions that leave fantasy owners hanging by a thread.

He's not worth the heartache.

Don't bench Welker. Ever.

i remember my buddy, who is very unlucky, played him last year when he had no catches

Jacobs likely to be held out

Quote :
"Brandon Jacobs feels he can play Sunday against the Cardinals, but the Giants remain concerned about swelling in his ailing knee, and the bruising running back is likely be held out as a precaution, according to the Arizona Republic.

The Giants hold a three-game lead at 9-1 in the NFC East, and there is no urgency for Jacobs to play. Derrick Ward would likely start in his place, and the solid back is worth handcuffing for insurance if available. "

Who do I go with at QB... Orton @ STL or Favre @ TEN or Shaun Hill @ DAL?

Who do I go with as my defense... Seattle vs WSH, New England @ MIA, Carolina @ ATL?

^^I'd say Favre...Tennessee's run defense is monstrous so expect them to focus first on stopping Thomas Jones, causing Favre to have to throw...also Cassel (and the Pats in general) didn't do anything against the Dolphins earlier in the year, and that was in New England...now they're playing in Miami...I would go Favre

Thats retarded.. Favre has shown all year that he needs that running game in order for him to play well and hes the leading pick thrower in the league playing a top interception forcing team. Start Cassel. Bellichick will not lose twice to Miami Dolphins and Cassel is a much different player now than he was in week 3 or 4. Trust that.

So a couple of guys got into a back-and-forth e-mailing bitchfest in my league, and 1 dude's wife responded with this gem:

Quote :
"OK, I did not participate in Fantasy Football, but my husband did, but I
happen to bump into the email correspondences. I want to offer some of my
comments from an outsider's view without siding anybody.

First, I believe there is a better time for everybody to use their time than
playing Fantasy Football. For example, doing volunteer work is much more
value added. That includes my husband, who wasted numerous hours on this
placing multi-millionaire players in ghost teams.

Second, I know nothing about football and by just reading some of these
emails, I think it is not worth putting your emotion into this. That
includes my husband, too. In several emails, there is too much reaction
instead of responding. Whoever started foul language should look inside
him/herself to see why other people's reaction is negative. It's the
failure on the sender's part not to be able to manage others' response well.

Third, I would recommend everybody to read some books by Steve Covey, and I
believe that will help all of us manage our emotional intelligence. The
time spent reading that book should be much more value added.

Finally, please, no more emails on this. The time and experience on this is
a sunk cost that does not deserve more emotional investment from anyone.

I wish everybody a good night!"

She's Chinese, hence the broken Engrish. I'm thinking of responding with a simple, "Who the fuck asked you?".

It's probably this chick:

Need a QB, either Matt Ryan vs Car or David Garrard vs Min. Thinking about maybe going Garrard.

The big issue for me, pick 2 RBs:

Brandon Jacobs @ ARI
Brian Westbrook @ BAL
LenDale White vs NYJ
Correll Buckhalter @ BAL
Derrick Ward @ ARI
Selvin Young vs OAK

Some of these might get knocked out soon by injuries, and I'm guessing Young is pretty much out already.

^^^I'd go Garrard, I think Carolina and ATL have a ground-fest and Ryan didn't have a great games against the Panthers last time around.

Tough RB situation, injuries and terrible match-ups.
If Jacobs is in, start him, if not, definitely start Ward.
I don't think you can sit Westbrook even if it is Baltimore.

^^I'd go DeA over MJD based only on defensive match-ups. I think ATL can be run on and I think DeA will have a good game on the turf. You can never tell which Panthers RB will go off but DeA will get plenty of carries.

Johnson out for Thursday

Chad Johnson has been deactivated for tonight's battle against the Steelers for violation of a team rule, according to the Bengals' official website.

His 113-game streak will be snapped. Adjust your lineups accordingly. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's already low fantasy stock drops even further with the elite receiver out.

So with Johnson out, Do you start T.J against the Steelers (will get most the looks) or Lee Evans against the Chiefs.

Evans is currently ranked higher but been terrible recently. T.J. is coming on lately but the Steelers have a stout defense and Fitzpatrick is throwing the ball.

Pick 2

Portis
Dunn
DeAngelo Williams

I was initially leaning towards Portis and DeA, but Dunn is going against the shitty Lions and Stewart is back at full strength for the Panthers, not to mention that he got more carries than Williams did in his first game back last week.

Portis and Dunn?

Felix Jones is out for the remainder of the year

Felix Jones' rookie campaign is over as he is headed for injured reserve, according to the Associated Press.

The Cowboys are going to shut him down due to a big left toe injury suffered while rehabbing his ailing hamstring. He will be missed as he averaged 8.9 yards per carry this season.

^^i actually like rosenfels (sp?) out of that match up... maaaybe big ben, but he's still sorta banged up

^the jets have a pretty good defense though- I think they will stop the run and collins will finally have his typical "interception game" because of tight defensive coverage

which leads me to my next question- Willie Parker or Clinton Portis?

and for my other league- Ted Ginn Jr, Joey Galloway, or Mushin Muhammed (sp?) (already starting roddy white and brandon marshall)

Willie has a good matchup but its hard to bench Clinton under any circumstance, especially against the Seahawks...you must be stacked at RB not to start both of them

and I like Ginn out of the three WRs
